I had a great experience dining here. The staff were very attentive and helpful. They used great quality ingredients, and the portions were bigger than my expectation. If you’re into experimenting with food, this is a great place to do it! You can try different condiments and pair it with their seafood selections. Also, if you’re not sure how to pair things up, they have recommendations on how to bring the best flavor of each food. However, if you’re not into experimenting and adding things to your dish, their food is also good to be eaten as it is.

DO NOT BOOK THE GARDEN SEATING! I am beyond upset that they did not mention there are no AC in the garden. It was a 95 degree on their fan when we walked in. They gave us mini fans but the room was so hot, the fan was blowing dead air! The waitress did nothing and said it due to the weather outside. It was ridiculous! 2 guest started feeling sick. 1 guest who almost passed out, had to leave. This is a health issue. If you have any health issues, avoid the garden, the restaurant won’t tell you about the environment before hand because they just want the business.

Love the simplicity and creative space of making sushi your own. Love the vibe and the idea that we sit on the floor like in Japan. It’s a fixed-price menu, so everyone gets 12 different kinds of fish with 5 nori square sheets, miso soup, different types of seasonings (there were 9), and rice. We ordered the white peace juice, and that was refreshing. The bathroom is amazing. I love how clean it is and furthermore aesthetically pleasing. The staff was kind, but they speak so softly I couldn’t hear anything they said. In my opinion, the price was overpriced. Food was mid. It’s cute and pretty, but it’s mid.

The vibe here is super Zen and you take off your shoes and wash your hands in the foyer before entering the dining room to sit on tatami mats and enjoy your meal. The format is creative with different salts to pair with each fish / seafood with Nori and sushi rice to wrap. Bowls available as well.

The place is nice, they make you take off your shoes at the entrance, it’s an excellent experience. The fish was fresh. The food was delicious. We had to order more rice and more seaweed to make sushi. The price is a bit high, but the food is tasty.

Ume is a wonderful and unique dining experience that offers a respectful omakase platter experience. We came here on a double date with friends and the whole experience of sitting on the floor and sharing an experiential dinner made our night extra special! I had my first pick up order here today. 10/10 no exaggeration. I try out all the top sushi restaurants in Manhattan and in the Williamsburg area and this place is absolutely great. The nigiri is delicious. I ordered Mochi desert as well but I’m not much of a desert guy so I won’t order that again but will definitely pick up many more orders from this location. Beyond fresh with their fresh-made soy sauce to top it off. What a delight ❣️
