My wife and I visited this steakhouse for the first time the other night, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we pulled up and utilized the valet service, we knew we were in for a treat. The transformation they have achieved with the space is truly remarkable, bringing a refreshing modern touch to the North End area.

I’m sad to read through the more negative reviews because my experience couldn’t be further from what they described.

Great addition to the north end, the food was amazing and the restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful

Everything about this place is average—the drinks, the food, the service, the ambiance. Fine would be the best way to describe it. Unfortunately, the price does not match the middling experience. In terms of value for your dollar, it’s one of the worst places in Boston in my opinion. We spent close to $400 for two people: we had an app, 3 drinks each, two filet mignons, and each had a side. Service was slow, and the waiter didn’t know the menu that well. The food was under-seasoned, and the filet wasn’t even a great cut of meat. None of what we experienced aligned with what you expect from a place claiming to be a nice steakhouse. Can’t recommend and would not return.

The service was amazing when we went, the manager checked on us and our waiter was super nice. Unfortunately I think they have some more work to do on their menu and execution.

A great place to drink and party. Veal tough; tomato sauce is bitter. Clams & mussels minuscule. Tiny piece of white fish. Go elsewhere to eat.

DIned there tonight. Disappointing. Receptionist barely understood English; and when the first 2 of our party of 4 arrive 15 minutes early, she on her own changed the reservation from 4 to 2. The waiter way over sold things. He should have just let us order the food; and when we say we have ordered enough, don’t keep pushing us to order more. The bread was tiny; like the size of a small brownie. Lamb shank meat was great, but the beans it was in were just so-so. Baby Brussels Sprouts were ok. The Roasted Wild Mushrooms were terrible; zero flavor. Table service — other than the over-pushy waiter — was great.

Warning! They charge $10 for WATER that comes in a bottle but tastes like tap. They won’t ask if you’d like more they just bring it and suddenly you have an extra $20 on your bill for WATER. Food is mid and service blows

I really wanted to like this place because I’m a frequent guest at their sister restaurants. (Mare bricco) experience at the door was ok the host was really nice but there was some confusion with the table. We sat down and someone greeted us who was very nice but didn’t end up serving us. Another gentlemen came over who seemed a little nervous but got more nervous as the experience went on. We got the meatballs and the surf and turf to start. The surf and turf was just as good as the one from mare. Meatballs are breaded and fried which was a little different but still good. The entrees were where they fell short. They’re considered a steakhouse but the steak was dry and cooked all different temps through out. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were ok. All in all I wanted more from this place but it fell short.

Wouldn’t go there again even if you paid me. The staff is awful especially the front of house. They are extremely rude and ill mannered. They should consider hiring a new chef too because the food was average at best. Everything is overpriced, location sucks. Based on the staff alone it’s the McDonald’s of north end restaurants.
