This pizza is done. How can you mess up a regular slice is beyond me! But if you want to find out just go here. Flabbergasted to say the least today. Just don’t understand how horrible their pizza has been the last six months. Soggy no crust to hold up the all of the weight from the enormous cheese and oil. Cmon.

I phoned in and placed an order for a pie and a chicken parm hero to be delivered to Nassau Shores. Upon opening the tin containing what I expected would be a decent hero, I discovered an emaciated, overcooked, inedible 1/32” slab of “chicken” slapped on a hunk of dried out bread with about a ½ teaspoon of “sauce”. There was some cheeses too. Maybe if we were in Iowa, Utah, or Mississippi this thing would fly; but here on LI? C’mon. I could’uh had one from McDonald’s and saved the $11.00 plus tax, and tip.

Ever since they got rid of Michael the Italian pizza guy & replaced him with a Mexican rubber toe, The pizza is not the same at this spot.. which use to be our favorite spot in Massapequa for pizza. All burnt on the back & all rubbery and hard to chew on! Not worth it. Stay away.

Went to Umberto’s Massapequa for dinner. We decided to dine in since we usually take out. The food was good (especially the mussels) but the service was pretty awful. Our original waitress didn’t understand us well (I ordered mussels white and she repeated mussels white clam sauce). Another guy brought our food out to the bar. He was really nice, but his thumbs were inside all of our plates when he carried them. That was off-putting. The original waitress, who I think was a bus person in training, leaned so far across my lap to clear plates her torso was in my lap. It was uncomfortable. My wife and I were shocked at the lack of professionalism at such an established restaurant. We get better service at the local diners, which is not saying much. I would recommend taking food out from Umberto’s but would not recommend dining in.

2.5 hours and still waiting for a delivery. Called 3 times and each time told order was out. Never again. They should do themselves a favor and stop taking orders if they can’t delivery in 2 hours. Food still not here at 7:50 and ordered at 5:20. Food going to be cold if they really sent out 40 minutes ago like they said. Do yourself a favor and just pick up

Phoned in a half mushroom/olive half plain pie for delivery. Showed up as in the pic. Total mess. Crust was part soggy and overly chewy. Shameful.
