Grabbed a specialty hotdog in the food court area on the lower level of the San Francisco Centre shopping mall. Overwhelmed with the options I choose the Honolulu Bang Bang which is a Polish sausage topped with pineapple bits, diced red onion, bacon, Teriyaki Hoisin sauce severed on a Hawaiian bun. The service was quick and the cost was good ($8.75) for lunch. It came with a fork but it was so hard to eat as a hand held I went back and asked for a knife. The flavors were good but it was hard to get the full effect because not all the component nuts could be easily consumed in one bite. In stead I had to eat it in bits and pieces which didn’t provide the full flavor combination. Also the pineapple was cold which was kind of off putting given the other ingredients were warm or at room temperature. I’d definitely go back and would try a different speciality hotdog.

I ordered the Blitzkrieg and the Spicy Garlic Noodles. Both were amazing. Good flavored sausage on a soft bun with the perfect combination of toppings. The noodles were awesome. Fast service, and it’s in a mall setting. This place is great.

Imagine going to a hot dog place and ordering burgers… can’t be me right? Well, it is me. Wanted to try something new in the food court instead of Shake Shack all the time. The food was decently priced being in the shopping center and all. They do have deals certain days of the week. Thursday happened to be Truffle Thursday. We ordered the truffle baga and busan boom (burger with kimchi). We were able to taste truffle in every bite. The busan boom was alright. The burger is supposed to have some umami flavor from its sauce but I didn’t get much of that if at all. I’d recommend trying this spot if the daily deals are appealing.

Did this guy just do a post on hot dogs? On top of that, a ” restaurant chain” inside a mall?

Huge variety of inventive dogs. The Nashville Brisket blew us away. It had no right being as good as it was. Rest of the dogs we ordered were enjoyable and filling (Kyoto fire, Houston honcho, and shinjuku shadow). A real gem of a spot for a quick bite to eat.

The truffle fries are good. Just a bit too much truffle sauce. The Dirty Dog is delicious! And, the funnel cake fries with chocolate dip is really good. Get extra powdered sugar on top!

Was in the area and wanted something easy and tasty . Was intrigued by the name Umai Savory Dog. I didn’t want to eat a hot dog, but when I saw that they had chicken wings similar to Korean chicken, I was hooked, line and sinker. The chicken wings were damn tasty. Will definitely go back for it. The employees here practice safe Covid regulations.

Had the cali chicken hot dog, it was half decent and I thought to be overpriced. Even though it was inside a food court I would have expected it to be better. The person helping me was not interested in me ordering at all, she gave me a rude attitude and was not trying to help me in any way. She did not even attempt to make eye contact. I’m not ordering here again.

Not a great experience. The menu looks great, the combinations are really interesting and there’s a lot of choice. I just wish the execution was better.
