This oceanfront restaurant at the Four Seasons is modern, swanky and romantic. The outdoor tables have a great view of the sunset if you get seated around 6pm. The food was so so, definitely overpriced for what it was, but I guess you’re paying for the brand and the views. The chili crab noodles were yummy. The coriander crusted ahi was just ok – the flavors didn’t match very well.

This is a place you must visit when on the Big Island. We have gone to a few upscale restaurants, but this one so far has been the best.

Wonderful food, service, atmosphere, views, etc….. One of if not the best dining experience on big island. Be sure to order dessert, do not skip. The pastry chef and her team does amazing work.

It’s been a long time since I have been blown away by a restaurant. The whole staff made a standing impression on my wife and I. We visited Ulu as part of our honeymoon, and everyone made it special for us from the moment we walked in. However, Bianca (our server) was truly exceptional. I’m not sure I have come across another wait staff the cares about the service they provide as much as she does. She has endless knowledge on her entire menu down pat. I mean seriously she will tell you every flavor and what it’s inspired by or where it’s from on EVERY dish and EVERY wine, cocktail, you name it. Very very impressive. Bianca is seriously very dedicated to her craft and will absolutely be going far. There were many other things she did for us to make our night truly unforgettable. As far as the food itself goes… my mouth is watering just writing this a few days after eating.

Wow! This restaurant left me without words. The view at sunset is spectacular, one of the best views ever. The food quality is amazing, from the meat to the fish. Best uramaki with tuna of my life, the quality of the tuna was outstanding. Cocktails were also very good.

The food was well done. The souffle was extremely delicious. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. View of the ocean and hearing the waves crash set the mood for our wedding celebration.

If you have Floyd as your server, you’re in for a treat. My wife and I just got married on Kukio Beach up the street and we decided to eat here. O’Boy did we pick good. Floyd was not only extremely professional, but extremely caring. I can honestly say I felt taken care of as a king would expect.

Built into the 4 seasons resort this place has amazing food and fast friendly service, right on the beach, this is one of the best places to go for a fancy dinner in Kona for sure.

Walked in here for dinner, managed to get a table indoors. The complimentary sweet potato bread with butter was rather salty. The stir fry noodles – pretty basic definitely wouldn’t pay the price for it. The fish was just okay but we’ve had better. The chocolate soufflé was decent. Definitely not worth the price we paid for mediocre food

There is no doubt the setting of this restaurant is the best on the big Island. Service was slow because there was a large party that was going on that took up much of the attention of the staff. We had the Kona abalone which was over cooked and 2 sides , the Thai fried rice and stir fry vegetables to share for the table. We thought the grilled kampachi would be more tender but it was dry and rather bland. You will remember this dining experience mainly for the setting not for the food unfortunately. The best part of the meal was definitely the dessert – soufflé and pineapple upside down cake which were both outstanding.
