Not a bad experience here at Ugly Dumpling. Location is super cute and there’s a lot of open space. Service is nice and it seems to be a lot of younger staff. There are many various food and drink options on the menu. The pan fried dumplings were probably my favorite. The chili wontons were delicious and definitely recommend the hot and sour soup for its quality. The amount is worth the price too. The spicy beef noodle soup was just ok. It kind of lacked in flavor. The scallion pancakes were good but extremely oily. Definitely would come back and try some more dishes.

Visiting from out of town, my daughter asked if we could stop by this place after seeing the grand opening flags around the restaurant. We both ordered the Spicy Hot & Sour Soup. We enjoyed the generous portion size, I’m guessing 24oz, both thought it was excellent 10 of 10 rating. I also ordered the Salt & Pepper Popcorn Chicken, I expected more flavor, 6.9 of 10.

2023.06 in terms of service, it is good, well trained. Hoping because they are new, they are short staff, waited 20 min to be seated, while 20% of the table are vacant. Atmosphere is good. Food is nothing special, soup dumpling can’t contain its soup, because of the skin is too skinny also small. Cucumber and cabbage with garlic are definitely not worth it. I will say will cost them a dollar. But $7 and $11. Overall food are not heavy in taste, but still drink lot of water afterward. 4 ppl cost me $120 with tips just for lunch. FYI : 5 stars are creativity, food taste, service, price, and atmosphere. They only get service and atmosphere.

Great service and environment! We brought wine and we had an amazing time. It was not too crowded, and they had a great selection of freshly made dumplings. They have a cool window area where you can see how the dumplings are made. Fernando took our order, and he did an excellent job helping us.

I think this restaurant is a little underrated! Nothing was mind blowing but they have a nice, newly renovated and clean space, very polite servers, reasonable prices and good food. The only complaint that I have is their portions. For whatever reason, after eating two trays of dumpling and 6 wings I was still hungry. Usually I only eat 6 wings and I’m full so that was kind of a surprise because the portions didn’t look too small either!
