The place was horrible!! Food was nasty! Chicken didn’t even cook properly, biryani was made with cheap rice! And the whole place was nasty! Fruit flies everywhere, and the bathrooms were the worst. Not at all cleaned properly. It was disaster after disaster! I’ve told my whole family to not come here because of this. And that too, there was toilet paper on the walls. Never coming here again, and so should you!

What attracted us was how the restaurant was named – eclectic vegetarian. While it is not a vegetarian only restaurant but has excellent vegetarian food which tastes really good. Service was very nice. The ambience of the restaurant could be improved. It was stuffy inside the restaurant but this is a small thing. I read some negative comments about the restrooms. I can definitely say it was one of the cleanest restrooms I have come across at a restaurant

Our usual place. Nice Kerala specials, vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties. Kids love specially Butter Chicken Dosa. Platter was too good with full loads of varieties. Highly Recommended!

Some of these reviewers, that only have a handful or less reviews, are suspect. (Possibly competitors) Anyways, I enjoyed their Christmas buffet and am looking forward to the next one. Hoping there’s an onam one too!

We heard that the management of this place was changed recently and wanted to try out their non vegetarian dishes. We ordered two Mutton biriyani’s and a Beef ularthu tonight for dinner. Both mutton biriyanis were burnt completely and weren’t edible at all. Beef ularthu wasn’t good too. It was soaked in oil and burnt partially. Here are some pics of what we received. We had to throw away everything and cook something for dinner. Such a horrible experience!!! Please be careful when you order food from this place. This was the worst restaurant food I ever had in my life

Stopped by while in town for work and ordered the Mysore Masala Dosa and Bhindi Masala. Both came out fast and tasted delicious! Perfectly spiced, though a little oily, it was very comforting. Staff was genuinely kind and you could tell they work from the heart. If I find myself in this area again I’ll be stopping by!

We had high hopes going here readings the reviews etc. And then I found a groupon and I was hoping it will be as good as it claims to be. Very disappointed. My husband ordered gobhi manchurian and it was far from what we have had. It was small pieces of flowerets with lots of coloured flour and were really tasteless. Even the sambhar and chutneys isn’t taste authentic. I would not recommend this restaurant. In addition it took them forever to get our bill sorted since we returned gobhi. The service was generally poor.

Food was great. Madras coffee was nice in taste but we’re expecting it in traditional Indian steel cup and small bowl. It was brought in regular ceramic cup.

There’s almost never a wait to get seated, and the atmosphere is really nice. Typically, there’s bollywood playing on the TVs throughout the establishment, which is a plus in my book. The wait times for food are a bit much and the staff can be a bit unpleasant, but that’s more than compensated for by the quality of the food. I’ve yet to have a bad meal here. The price is a bit high when compared to other Indian restaurants, but I think that it’s worth it on some dishes. There’s been a noticeable difference in flavor since the rebrand, but it’s certainly not for the worst! Would definitely recommend giving them a try. Their dosas are fantastic and very generous.

Yesterday was craving for Udipi’s Spring dhosa and we used to love Udipi sambhar, Spring dhosa and idli hence we went there. Didn’t know the ownership has changed. When we arrived we saw lot of people so were impressed. When we were seated….no one arrived to serve us water and to take the order. 1 lady was running around trying to do everything so seems like they are understaffed. When I called the lady to place the order, she said they didn’t have idli or vada even though it’s Friday night and we reached there around 8. Food arrived after a long time and it didn’t taste like it did before change of management. We ordered spring dhosa and rasam. The quantity was good for both Spring dhosa and rasam and chutney was good as well. But Spring dosa was very soft, half of sambhar was filled with tomatoes that too big size and rasam had lot of oil in it. We were disappointed because of the long wait time…had to wait 30 minutes and then when the food came, we didn’t feel like eating because it didn’t taste like before but we ate because we were hungry. Glad we ordered 1 spring dhosa and not 2. Udipi should improve Spring dhosa recipe ie go back to the recipe they had before. For rasam, the taste was good but they should put less oil. Giving them 2 stars for quantity.
