I’m a visitor from the mainland and found this place while walking in search of food. Ordered the chicken katsu plate. Pretty big portion for the price. The chicken katsu has to be the best place I’ve ever eaten. Hands down! Might have to come back and get another plate before I leave.

In the back streets of Waikiki lies a great little low-key food court with five restaurants and outdoor food court seating. We had lunch at U-Kitchen on a friend’s recommendation and were pleasantly surprised. The garlic chicken plate came with a heap of saucy fried chicken topped with crunchy fried garlic slices, some pasta salad, green salad with ranch dressing and a tomato and hotdog snack stick. The Hamburger steak plate had a slightly sweet brown gravy drenched over a fat burger patty which was cooked to perfection. Large quantities for the price and a really great aloha meal!

Some of the best food here in Waikiki and providing exceptional value. I tried the garlic chicken big plate, locomoco and the breakfast plate and all were tasty and big portioned. Located in the heart of Waikiki where you’ll be paying tourist tax, this is a hidden gem to save a few extra dollars at no compromise.

Inside a hidden-ish food court. You can’t beat the breakfast platters – $5.99! 2 platters available, offered until 12pm. More than enough for a lunch portion! Food was delicious, came with ample sides.

Available January 2023. I bought a Nori-ben, which has a reputation for being cheap in Waikiki. In addition, it was a delicious freshly made lunch box that was cooked after ordering, and the fried white fish and croquettes were freshly fried.
