Stopped by on a motorcycle ride today . Great bar / restaurant food.. Had the sloppy Joe it was excellent. The staff was great and very helpful. The place was very clean. I will definitely stop back one in the area.

Only one person working, so food choices were limited. Pizza was excellent. Toilet in women’s rest toom was broken and the bathroom was dirty.

First time in. Went for the fish fry. Very friendly folks, go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. Food was excellent, I had baked, husband had fried fish. Baked potato was perfect, fries, obviously hand cut. Complimentary adult pudding shots with the fish fry, nice touch. Been seasonal up here 40 years. Wish we tried them sooner.

Iconic American North Woods WI bar & restaurant! I highly recommend the Friday night Fish Fry with a cold WI beer! Recommend the cheesy hashbrowns! Very close to Dunn Lake and 15 minutes from downtown Spooner! Making this a new summer family tradition in Northern WI!

Everytime we come here we have the best time. Food is home cooked, the ribs when they have them are MONEY. Bartenders are all great that work here. Love this place

Great fish fry and awesome service. The owner was so nice, he gave us free pudding shots and hooked us up with a couple bags of ice. I will make it a point to stop here every time I’m going through.

Decided to try it for the fish fry. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. The down side was not too kids friendly, although it wasn’t all that bad. Also the Friday menu is shortened up to mostly apps and the fish fry. Now the good stuff….. the food was great, service was excellent, and we were even treated with a pudding shot. The fish came in baked or fried, we decided the baked was better. The sides all tasted delicious and the slaw was a sweet vinegar. Im hoping to go back hopefully when its less busy.

I came here for lunch with 3 adults and 2 children. The owners were so amazing. They took care of the children first so we could enjoy our lunch. They were by far the most kind people ever. Just wanted to say thank you for lunch and the peaches and cream adult dessert it was by far my favorite place. The food was great and overall a warm friendly spot for the whole family! I will be coming back and highly recommend you stop in to.
