What can I say besides amazing? From the cappuccino to the toasted bread, to the meal itself, everything was exactly as I had hoped for. This place seems so unassuming from outside, but this truly is, as everyone calls it, a hidden gem of the area. My new favorite Italian spot in Lake Forest, at least!

Great local Italian spot. I’ve been here a couple of times now when in town for work and the food is consistently delicious and staff customer service is always terrific and they’re personable to chat with. I’ve brought coworkers and visited alone and always enjoyed myself. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A little piece of the North End of Boston in the OC! One taste of the breaded artichoke or chicken picatta and you are transported straight back to the home of honest great Italian in the USA. There are plenty of fancy Italian places in Laguna/Newport and I always leave this place more tummy satisfied than any of them. If you want old school east coast Italian food come here.

When we go down to Laguna Woods and Italian food is in the menu, this is where we come. The restaurant is not big or fancy so if you’re looking for a quiet or romantic dinner this is probably not your first choice. But if you want good food and a friendly atmosphere, this is definitely the place to be.

The place looks from the outside nothing like the food and service. It’s truly a gem. Our waiter was so nice, professional and welcoming. The food was very delicious, we had some pasta to share and the special of the night was a duck, with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Mangia Benne indeed !

A nice, authentic Italian restaurant in Lake Forest. This location is 4 minutes walking distance from Hotel Hilton Garden Inn Irvine Spectrum Lake Forest. Today we came to this restaurant to eat lunch. The inside of the restaurant was clean and the overall ambiance was pleasant. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta with Shrimp and Chicken Marsala. The food was good. Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta was so creamy and delicious. Chicken Marsala was well cooked and tasty as well. Their overall service was good, we didn’t have to wait long to get food. Overall this is a nice place for authentic Italian food.
