Black Owned business inside Turner Hall. Ordered a burger because the concert at Turner Hall got delayed by an hour. Ordered a burger. It was above average, and the sauce they served with it was very very very good. Bumped me from 4 stars to 5.

We had dinner here before a show at Turner Hall. The menu is very limited, so take a look online before you go. Once seated, we ordered drinks and dinner. I ordered a burger and fries with the offered smoked onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and I added cheese, my friend ordered the nachos. Drinks were out quickly but the food took quite a long time to come out even though there were only 5-6 tables occupied at the time. My burger arrived without onions or any condiments other than BBQ sauce in a ramekin, which I didn’t request. Fries were pale, more limp than crisp. Had to wait a bit for ketchup. My burger (and bun?) seemed to have been cooked in quite a lot of fat – even the bun was greasy. The nachos were ok, the cheese sauce was unexpectedly spicy (not a problem for my friend but one bite was enough for me).

I had a great dining experience. The food I ordered, which was the jerk egg rolls and lemon pepper wings, were very good! The food also came out hot. My party of four also ordered drinks which were great as well. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. The music added to a great night. I would definitely recommend!!

Great food and great service! If you come in on a Bucks game night and expect to be in and out along with 100 other patrons in 30 minutes, you’re being unreasonable and may want to consider dining elsewhere. I visited during non-peak hours and had a really great experience. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. I’d recommend visiting during the week for the best experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our food and experience at turning tables tavern and eatery. Walked in looking for a place to eat after the shamrock shuffle. The kitchen was closed but Emerald, the owner, not only made an exception for us but she welcomed us and gave us top of the line service! Her and her fiancé jay are great and kind people. The bar was a fun place to be as well! This is my favorite place on water street now, and I will be back! Thank you emerald!

I suggested this place to a friend for dinner because we were attending a show at Turner Hall. Average cried for a Wednesday. We were seated immediately. The waitress asked if we would like a glass of champagne (free). W said yes and asked for 2 glasses of water also. We got the champagne, no water. She brought us only the appetizer menu. We asked for a dinner menu. She came back to take our order. My friend wanted salad. At 6 PM they were out of all salad items. We ordered the spinach triangles and our food. And again asked for 2 glasses of water. 40 minutes later I went up to the bar to ask for 2 glasses of water. Another waitress said she bring the water over. I asked about our appetizer and our waitress said she check on them. 10 minutes after we got our appetizer – cold. I asked the waitress how long they had been sitting out waiting for her to get them, and said i wanted a fresh, hot order. Still waiting for the fresh ones, i went to look to somebody to complain to. As i was speaking to a woman, our fresh order was ready and the waitress just handed me a tray. These were hot – but burnt. Our dinner finally arrived and we had about 10 minutes to eat then get upstairs. Waited ANOTHER ten minutes to get our check. She brings it to me, then takess my card as I had that ready. Brings me back my card and check – with no pen to sign it. I had to go to the bar and ask if they had one and the bartender pointed to one another customer was using, and said, yeah. Right there. Apparently three only one pen to the place. I don’t know how many times I apologized to my friend. I felt terrible. Never again. Whoever is teaching the service staff is doing an awful job. They’ll get fired from every job at that rate.

We waited several minutes for a waitress to take our drink order. We told her we were going to the game at the Fiserv. We got there an hour and a half before the game. 20 minutes before the game we walked out because we still didn’t have our food. The very limited game food menu didn’t have many options. There was no explanation as to what was taking so long. We will not be going back.

Unfortunately we had a pretty poor experience here. When we arrived they brought us to a table in an area that was not lit. There were several other tables with people at it in the area that were sitting in the dark. Then we were left without anyone coming to take any orders at all for 15 minutes. I went up to the bar to ask if we were supposed to order there. They said someone would be over soon. Eventually they came over and gave each of us different menus. At least 10 minutes later someone came to take our order. People kept coming to the table over and over to apologize for the wait, but we still didn’t have any drinks. A waitress was walking around saying the “owner got engaged next door so we are sorry for the wait”. So the wait staff can’t provide customer service because the owner is next door? We ordered 2 appetizers and after we did, the waitress came back 15 minutes later to tell us neither one of them were available. So we said we would just have the drinks (old fashions) and take the bill. We waited and waited for our drinks and after waiting for at least another 15 minutes for drinks, we left. So we were there for nearly an hour with nothing being brought to us. I have been to this restaurant before and had such great experiences. Unfortunately I do not plan on coming back.
