Today, I came to the Turkish Grill restaurant located at 272 Melwood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. The restaurant is quiet and pleasant, the waiter is very friendly and beautiful, and the food is delicious and hearty, which I have never eaten in any restaurant. Thank you for the Turkish Grill service. I recommend it to everyone. Come to this restaurant for lunch or dinner

Love turkish food so was pretty excited to come here but this wasn’t too convincing. I shared a chicken mix plate and we were both p disappointed by the amount of the sides especially and the chicken itself was just a bit bland. We also shared an appetizer plate and that was good but nothing special either. I liked the warm pita though and the service was okay. Not terrible at all, just pretty average.

The food was satisfactory. Didn’t love the Doner so much. Lamb Shish was good. Loved the Babaganoush!

Such a great experience. Owner was very friendly and the food was fantastic. Their Turkish coffee on point and was served in authentic Turkish cups. Very excited to try their new afghani dishes coming on the menu. If you are looking to make your tastebuds explode this is the spot !

Great food and the owner and staff are wonderful. My daughter and fiancé had their rehearsal dinner here. The evening was flawless. The owner and staff worked so hard to allow us to have great food and fun time. The appetizers, kabob and gyro meats were delicious. Such a great evening.

The reviews were very good for this restaurant so I thought I’d try it. On the menu, the Iskender Kebab was supposed to be fried eggplant. The photo of Iskenderun Kebab on the review site looked like eggplant with a full yoghurt sauce. What I received was dried up gyro meat with naan underneath. Maybe that is what Iskender Kebab is supposed to be but THE MENU said it was EGGPLANT. I don’t get it — don’t they know what their menu says? When I sent the plate back, the server said “If you don’t want it, don’t order it.” When I showed him the menu, he just shook his head. Other than that, the ambiance is lovely, the water was cold, the hot tea was delicious (with lots of cardomom), and the rice pudding was sweet and rich. But I was really disappointed about the eggplant AND even more with their solution to the discrepancy. Don’t think I’ll be back. Too bad.
