Tunis on Baymeadows and Old Kings Road is the best location of the series of restaurants with the same name. It is my go to place for the occasional gyro sandwich and excellent fries. The staff is always courteous and friendly. The food takes a little while to get ready but I believe this is how they achieve always piping hot fries so I don’t mind a bit of waiting. We typically get the original gyro with fries and the jax burger with fries. The portions are consistently large and the food is always tasty. We’ve never had a bad meal from this Tunis location.

Do not call to order your food in for a later time because you’re a food will be cooked and put on standby an hour. They close at 10 so I suggest you place your order by 9:55, if you want your food fresh.

Went here with My Wife for the first time and We decided to dine in. We decided to order the fish sandwich with fries with a side of jalapeño poppers. We had the Bassa Fish sandwich and it was hot and very good. The fries were hot and crispy as well. Many of the prices are reasonable and They even have a kids menu as well. We will return here soon again.

Love this place I always buy Gyros here And for some reason RecentlyI’m getting little pieces of lamb that are hard and it usually is longer pieces. Of lamb I will try it one more time. And if it’s old hard meat, I will not buy anymore. Charlie

We ordered the catfish nuggets with fries and the 20 count shrimp. The catfish was pretty good, but the fries weren’t great. It was like they were old then refried. The shrimp made up for the fries. The shrimp is AMAZING! Their Boom Boom sauce is the best I’ve ever had! Chef’s kiss! Definitely will return

Came upon this restaurant (Baymeadows rd) by surprise. We ordered the wings, calamari, shrimp and gyro. EVERYTHING was fresh and good! Gyro meat was thick and juicy. The owner was very nice and he makes the best tartar sauce and Tzatziki sauces. Even the fries are good oh AND the Pepsi taste like it came right out the bottle right amount of fizz. Check them out!
