Mercer World Travels (MWT)
It’s difficult sometimes to find a Mexican restaurant that stands out. Tulum certainly does. Every thing I had here tasted excellent. From the fajitas, the salsas, the queso dip, and the margaritas were incredible. The icing to the cake of this whole experience was how fantastic our server was. She was attentive, helpful, and just damn good at her job. For great food and a good environment come here you won’t regret it.

We came here for dinner. The ambience is ok. The waiter told us it’s going to be a 15mins wait time. He came back and told us our table is ready, so we waited for him to show us our table, he never came to show where’s our table. After about 5mins, the lady noticed us, finally. The food is ok, I liked their margarita drinks. The staff isn’t very friendly, they’re rushing . We just got done with our food when the guy who let us wait for 5 mins and never came back, told us he’s going to get our check. I didn’t like the fact that they are rushing their customers for the new customers. I understand that new customers is waiting for their table, but it’s not ok to rush us specially we have kids that eats slowly. So I just asked for a container. My son ordered from the kids menu, and they charged us for the whole price for the meal he ordered.

Ernesto and his team catered our wedding reception and everyone LOVED the food! Ernesto worked with us on our desired menu and we ended up having carnitas, chicken, beef, beans, fajita veggies, rice, tortillas, chips, salsas and all the toppings! Everything was delicious and we had so many guests come up to us and tell us they loved the food. The afternoon of our reception, our friends picked up the food from the restaurant and brought it to our venue. Ernesto had chafing pans for the hot food, and we transferred the rest into decorative bowls. Great pricing, and we had lots of leftovers. Thanks again Ernesto + team for putting together the best fiesta feast!!

What an awesome little place. Service was GREAT! They were very on top of everything and about checking back on us. We ordered the carne asada and carne tampiquena and Camarones. The food was delicious!!! Prices were typical of a Mexican Restaurant and the environment was nice and relaxing with fun music.

Omg this was a hidden gem.. I would see plenty cars there, now I know why.. beans didnt taste from a can and rice was made right. Lol.. plenty of food.. I always have leftovers. Service is great.. (I tip well for great service) Waiters are like mind readers. Lol

Excellent restaurant that was happy to take our reservation of 24 people with only an hour or two notice. The staff was so kind and worked very hard to get our drink and food orders out to us. Naturally it took a little while to feed 24 people, but they kept the chips and salsa coming and we all had a wonderful time. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to others. It was wonderful that they had options suitable for my vegan preferences. I ordered the veggie fajitas with no cheese, sour cream, or refried beans and it came out steaming hot. It was waaaay more than I could eat. Of course the chips and salsa were wonderful, too (I couldn’t stop eating them!)!Would happily return next time I find myself in the area.
