Fun, bright interior! We ordered Mexican tacos and the grilled plate with barbacoa. The red sauce had good heat while the green sauce was mild and flavorful. Great spot with quick service.

Restaurant is very nice and clean, service was very helpful. Food tasted great and we enjoyed every minute of our time there as some good Mexican music played in the background to accompany the food down your our belly. You should visit and have a taste.

This is one of the more successful Mexican restaurants I’ve found in Columbus so far. They’re very popular for takeout (folks were coming in and out rapid fire at dinner time on a Thursday) and they did delivery to me, though I live 20+ minutes away. They have a solid menu of mostly authentic Mexican dishes, with some more Americanized options available. The breakfast burrito was flat out delicious; my one nitpick is there were a few really chewy (pure fat) pieces of carne asada. I enjoyed all their salsas, but I’d stick to verde and avocado for most things. Their chicken tinga was pretty good — a little heat and good flavor. I really liked the rice and refried beans too. They have decent corn tortillas and street tacos — the shrimp was mostly salty, not much flavor otherwise, but the al pastor had much better flavor. You get plenty food for your buck and I’ve gotten some good email promos from them too. Tula Taqueria gets a 4.5 out of 5 from me!

I am from South America and Tula Taqueria is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to in Columbus. Is not always easy to find authentic food that truly tastes like home. If you are looking for a delicious, high protein, an legit Mexican experience, this is the place.

Been here a handful of times now and the food is always great! Staff is usually pretty nice and helpful if you have questions. Everything ive tried is good; tacos, burritos, nachos, taquitos, California fries. Burrito was huge, it weighed 1.5lb and was only $8.50 for steak! Portion sizes in general are pretty good and the prices are great. Usually not a long wait after ordering.

It was our first time at Tula Taqueria, and I could not have been more impressed! The ambiance was so nice; the walls are bright and inviting, you can smell the food in the kitchen, and there is music. The food was FANTASTIC. We had breakfast tacos, breakfast burrito, and a sope with shrimp, and they were all flavorful and large portions. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the salsa jalisco on the side if you like spice. And the churros- if you like churros, get at least two orders of the churros with caramel. Mouthwatering! Will definitely be back!

Absolutely love Tula! I always try to come here whenever Mexican food is suggested. The vibe is very hidden gem, but I know and hope Tula gets more and more recognized every year. They were featured on Columbus Underground back in March this year! They deserve the attention. Their prices are reasonable, service is always really pleasant, and the food quality is always top notch.

Love this place. Lady works every day and she’s super nice. Feels like family restaurant. Plain burritos are a little dry sometimes but w salsa it’s tasty. Home run is breakfast burrito + chorizo.

Coming from California it has been hard to find good Mexican food. Tula’s food was GOOD, but I’m all about service. The guy at the front (guy with glasses) was extremely rude. People ask questions because they don’t know. From the get go, was like, oh get your menus and come back when you’re ready… not so much the what but the how! Otherwise, this place would of gotten 5 stars.
