My favorite Thai restaurant. Hands down. Don’t pass on their dessert either.

Just stopped in here for lunch and had a great meal! I split some apps with 3 friends and we had the shumai and roti. I had a coconut soup which was super tasty.

Went to TukTuk Thai for dinner on a Friday night. I believe it was the first Friday they were open. The food was absolutely delicious. The pork rolls we started with were packed with pork and flavor. My wife ordered the Khao Soi which did not disappoint. It is one of her favorite dishes, and she said it might be the best she’s ever had. I ordered the Kao Moo Dang. The fried pork belly was crispy and juicy, the sauce was great, and the char siu pork was cooked perfectly. Service was slow since they only had one waiter who was trying to do take out orders at the same time. I do not think they were expecting to have a full house like they did. I would definitely go back here.

I normally don’t post reviews, but I was obligated to since I was born in Bangkok, Thailand. This was the first time I had something so close to what my family would cook at home dining in at a Thai restaurant. I eavesdropped to hear someone sounding my Grandmother speaking Thai in the kitchen, truly a mom-and-pop store. Food was absolutely fantastic, reminding me of how my late grandmother used to cook. Most of the dishes are of familiar sight to me, stuff you normally wouldn’t see in a run-of-the-mill Thai restaurant. Coming from a family who owns a Japanese restaurant (funny I know, being Thai), service was excellent, even have native speaking Thai servers. Definitely a must-try place and looking forward to going back for a home-cooked meal!

My daughter and I decided to try this place after a stellar review by a friend. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully plated and prepared. The portions were perfect and my leftovers were just as delicious the next day. The desserts were outstanding and so so delicious as well as being beautifully plated as well. This will be my new favorite Thai restaurant and already planning to go back for my daughters birthday!

Don’t eat in this restaurant. We waited 15 minutes just to place our drink order, 90 minutes to receive only half of our appetizers that we ordered. 20 minutes after that we received one persons entree and then waited another ten minutes to receive the other entree. We had to ask for water refills. The worst part: they served a food allergic person the food which they are allergic to. To add insult to injury, they tried to charge us for the aforementioned food that we did not receive, we had to ask four times for the bill to be changed. This MIGHT be understandable if the restaurant itself was busy but it was not; rather they continued to pump out to go orders. Patrons who walked up and ordered at the counter received their food before us. The service is abysmal and the food is good at best. Venture further into the city and get real food and actual service; Cafe Equator down the street is also wonderful.

Amazing service and beyond delicious food. Everything we got was delicious and well prepared. Portion sizes are not too big and I like that. The desserts were Devine get the mango cheesecake!

Unfortunately must give this restaurant 1 star: I was very excited to come here with friends bc we love Thai and this is our neighborhood. We were there over two hours and it was honestly a disaster. We had to ask for a drink order about 15 minutes into entering as no one had acknowledged us after telling us where to sit; 2 in our party did not receive drinks at all so we shared (?!). We did not receive all of our food items even after we asked for them, not to mention it took almost 2 hours from time of walking in for entrees to arrive (probably 1.25 hours for 2 appetizers). We finally conceded on the evening being a loss and asked for the check only to have to correct the bill for 5 items that needed to be removed because we did not receive them. The server herself was very nice and apologetic when she came by (which was only when food came out, so rare) — I think the restaurant is new and trying to get its footing but it’s only one server for the entirety of dine in and to go orders. it seems as though the restaurant is prioritizing the to go orders so maybe that’s the route to go should you want to try this restaurant. The food that we received was good but not worth the trouble of trying to dine in unfortunately.

I’ve made it my mission to try everything in this restaurant at least once. So far I’ve had pad zee ew and ginger mushroom trio. They each deserved 5 stars, so I’ll go ahead and give TukTuk Thai a 5-star average!
