Best Thai Food I’ve had in TX so far…and I’ve been searching. Had Chicken Pad Thai, And TomKa, and Crab Rangoon. All tasty! Excellent service too. Right now they only serve food in Togo boxes but you can eat at tables no prob. They also have a little Thai Market so you can stock up on ingredients if you wanna cook Thai yourself! Very cute.

Best Thai food in south Austin! Everything is always delicious, especially the massaman curry and mango sticky rice. I always like that they call you when your order is ready; it’s a nice touch of good customer service. Staff is always super nice.

It was very good food and I ate 2 full entries to the last bite. The 5 star steal was the service. The employees that I spoke to and heard talking were genuine and beautiful. Love this place.

I’ve been eating here for years, and always look forward to ordering it in at the restaurant, or delivery during the work day. While it’s always been top quality, my recent orders have been lacking. Burned Crab Rangoon, over sauced Pad Thai, Greasy tasteless fried rice. I’m not sure what changed, but it’s been disappointing the last few months

This is a great spot for some awesome Thai! This is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Austin. The Pad See Ew is absolutely fantastic and generously portioned. You get to add a spice level to your dish as well, and level 3 is a very good and tolerable heat if you enjoy spicy food. The interior is a little small but beautifully decorated. Don’t let the exterior of the building fool you, it’s actually a unique and peaceful place inside. The service is very friendly, and the dishes are very affordable. Definitely recommend this place!

I’ve been living in this neighborhood for my whole life, but have been sleeping on Tuk Tuk until this year. It has got to be some of the best food available in South Austin. The people who run this place are so sweet and kind! I adore their Tum Kha Gai (pictured with chicken, YUM!), but be warned that Thai food don’t mess around with their spice levels (max I can do is level 2, I love it though!). Their Pad See Ew (my second fav), DWI Noodles, Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and fried rice are all solid amazing choices! Great portions too (pics aren’t accurate as we’ve already digged in) We’re definitely going to be regulars for probably the rest of our lives haha!

eh. Disappointing. As a work-from-homer, I wanted to get out of the house for lunch for a change of scenery. I got to Tuk Tuk right at 1pm and was puzzled to see the parking lot empty on a weekday. The reason? they havent reopened their dining room since the pandemic. I asked when they thought when they might open up again for dining in, and the answer was, ” I don’t know – maybe never!” So being a take out place is where they’d like to stay, ok that’s fine, it’s their business. Just dont go expect to hang out there and eat. More importantly , I asked specifically if a certain dish was made with sliced/chunks of chicken, or was it minced/ground. The hostess said ” It’s ground”. To which I said GOOD that’s how I like it ( I stopped going to a local Thai trailer when they changed ownership and changed from ground to chunky meat on this same dish, and when i make it at home, I do it with GROUND meat.) So I order the dish, gave spice level, and waited at the few seats they have left for you to wait in. It came out in a bag, guy thanked me politely, I thanked him, and left. When I opened it – at home- it is SLICED AND CHUNKY meat. And not very much meat to boot. So maybe this was a miscommunication, I tried to be very clear and it seemed like the hostess understood, but after all the disappointment I’m just not real high on this place at the moment. Maybe they’ll reach out and ask me to come back and try to give them an opportunity to fix it. Maybe not. We’ll see.

Great staff and great food. I especially liked my fried rice. I always get the pineapple fried rice at thai places and this was my favorite. Highly recommend!

Great Thai food, quick and easy. Currently not open for dine in, take out only. They do provide 4 tables in the front room to eat the take out containers on site.

Pad Thai is very inconsistent. First time I ordered spice level 2 and tasted zero spice. Second time bumped it up to a 3 and it burned my mouth off. Third time back down to a 1 spice to be safe, again no spice which is fine but also zero flavor. Not even a hint of sweetness. Wet noodles. Not going back.
