We made a reservation a couple months in advance. We got there 10 minutes before our reservation time. We we were greeted right away and given a wait time that was accurate with our reservations. Our server was great and the servers that went around with the food were all great as well. The salsa bar was fresh, clean and tasty. Between my husband and I we tried most of the main dishes and enjoyed them all. I like my meat cooked a little more than what they were bringing around at first, without saying anything, they noticed and asked how I liked mine cooked. This was our first experience and really enjoyed it. My only complaint is that we never received a receipt for our visit and we spent a lot of money, it would have been nice to have to add to the reward system through the app.

Tucanos is more of an experience than most dine outs. Be ready to eat as while this is 2 courses, the selections are plenty. A full diverse “bar” (salads, soups, sides) only compliments vast meat skewers of meat dancing around the table. As a self proclaimed lemonade connisuer, the Brazilian lemonade was a refreshing treat. My only complaint, which I can understand, comes mostly in the difficulty in serving large tables (we had 18). The tightness made it a bit harder to shovel the savory “candies” into my mouth while trying not to miss out on others. Understanding this is a self inflicted problem as we came in with so many.

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant, I heard about the food is good and it was true. However, the attention and atmosphere wasn’t nice, we had a reservation and the hostess who was a old lady looked tired and unfriendly, sadly our waitress was bored of her job and it was about 9:00 PM when we were sitted. She brought our check and dropped it off without even ask if we were ready to leave or if we wanted to try a dessert. We had to tell her we wanted a dessert, she had a bad attitude. However we left a tip, just because the guys who were serving the meat were nice. We think we had bad luck this time, but we also think we are not coming back.

This place is amazing. I absolutely love it. The meat was perfectly cooked and everything seemed very clean. I would like to point out the servers though. They were incredibly attentive and quick. We were having food offered to us constantly which is exactly what I like!

The food selection here is very good, between beef, pork, fish, and chicken you can surely find something. The buffet also has some great items on it, but for me, it was about what they were bringing to the tables and the meat sweats forecasted for later that evening! One thing I was not sure about prior to my arrival as I perused the photos and reviews was the grilled pineapple. Don’t get me wrong, I love pineapple but was not completely sold on warm pineapple. I WAS WRONG, that stuff is amazing, and I pretty much made the guy serving it up to camp at our table.

Variety is key. This place has it down. You will definitely get full and get your money’s worth. I do wish they’d allow you to take 1 Togo box. It does take a while for the better meats to make their rounds so you have to be patient. If you’re a person who likes all your food at the same time, this isn’t the place for you. But very cool experience to try new foods. Recommend for parties and special occasions
