On the way home from Colorado and stumbled across this little gem. Great food as you can see from my picture. I had the pork fried rice and it came with a huge slice of cucumber, which was a nice refreshing touch to the meal! Surprisingly affordable too in this economy. Well done Tsunami!! 5 stars from me!

I’ve always loved the food. So I invited a friend to visit and we specifically went there for dinner Friday night. I didn’t realize they closed at 8pm, however it was 7:54 when we arrived. We were met at the door by a woman stating they close at 8 so it’s take out only. Not to mention the restaurant’s seating was roped off and there were 7 or 8 of their children playing at the tables. I’ve worked at many restaurants and businesses. Closing time generally means you stop letting people in. It doesn’t mean you go home at that time and I had second hand embarrassment when I’d talked the place up so much and they se a sea of children and coloring books and a lady saying we don’t want your business. Luckily Cheddar’s had a table for us.

Busy at lunchtime which is a good sign, shrimp rolls on the lunch special were awesome! Good food, wish there was some heat (spice) in the kung pao chicken but it was good. Service was prompt and friendly. Good neighborhood restaurant.

Don’t listen to the 1 star reviews! The food is delicious, the staff is welcoming and VERY attentive, the prices are low and the atmosphere is very casual. It’s location looks shady, but don’t be fooled, the inside of this restaurant is perfectly clean and well kept! Definitely one of the best places I’ve eaten in Amarillo for Asian food.
