Good, but not great. I had been wanting to try out True Texas BBQ for a while now. 3 meat plate: brisket, ribs, and sausage with brisket bean, mac & cheese, and jalapeño cornbread. Lean brisket has a good pepper bark, minimal fat, and paired well with spicy BBQ sauce. St Louis ribs were alright, but forgettable. The sausage was super dry just like the bland mac & cheese. Brisket beans were delicious and tasted great with jalapeño cornbread. I’d stick with brisket next time, or maybe try their loaded mac & cheese or spud with brisket.

All the ‘ladies’ at this location hate their job. They’re super rude and not helpful. Customer service is not a thing at this location. Compared to the Lubbock location it’s miles of difference as well as the distance! This True Texas BBQ location should not be a thing that HEB represents.
