I have eaten here a couple times, and if you want really good down home, Texas barbecue, this place is it, they have such a good selection of not only BBQ meats, but also the sides. Today I had the beef brisket and the barbecue sausage, with collard greens and coleslaw. The brisket had that nice crispy outer edge and a nice smoke ring, and the flavor was delicious. It’s hard not to love barbecue, but really good barbecue is the best, the smoked sausage was just as delicious and flavorful. I like the side choices they have like I said I had to collard greens And the coleslaw which both were great, and the other sides they have like mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, cornbread, and many other sides to choose from. The service is excellent always friendly, and the nice thing is it’s inside the HEB grocery store so it’s perfect. Definitely worth trying if you’re in Midland.

Pulled pork and collard greens were great, as were the staff. Sauces were not well stocked, but they were dealing with a leak around that area so not such a big deal. Food here is at least as good as Rudy’s. Better than some of our local BBQ places.

The food was the best I have had in a very long time. I had been craving some bbq for a while and im so glad I decided to order from this place. The ribs were juicy, tender and meaty. The turkey is tender and yummy. And the chopped brisket is just delicious. For the sides I got their Mac n cheese and the beans. Ever was so good. I would definitely recommend this bbq place to everyone. Great job y’all.

We always have a really good experience here. The sliced brisket is phenomenal. They have a few different types of barbecue sauces to choose from that are all great but really not even needed. The food stands on its own. On top of all that the location is always very well kept and clean. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Worth going to eat here even if you don’t need to do any grocery shopping.

Well I have to say I’m really impressed with this BBQ place. I was told it could get pretty busy at dinner the so I went at 0530pm to beat the rush. It worked because there was a descent line when I left a quarter past 6. The ladies at the register and pick window were very nice so great customer service. I ordered the 3 meat platter and paid extra for the ribs. This 3 meat combo came with 2 sides, bread, pickles and onions. It was enough food for two people but I attempted to tackle it on my own. The mac and cheese was really delicious. Good cheese flavor and good texture on the Mac. Will definitely get it again. I also had the brisket beans and they also tasted great. The base had great flavor with a little kick. The beans were cooked well and the brisket really made the flavor pop. I was lucky enough to get a couple pieces of fatty brisket and they really soaked the flavor up. Delicious! The fatty brisket was great with a nice bark and great smoked flavor. It also had a very nice smoke ring. The pulled pork had a nice crispy texture to it without being dry. Went well with the peppered BBQ sauce. The ribs were my favorite though, great smoky flavor that went all the way through, nice crispy bark on the outside and fall off the bone tender on the inside. They were perfect. Glad I decided to stop by. I’m not a local but my local HEB north of Houston has a true Texas that I never tried. Will have to take the family to the local one so they can try it out. Hopefully they have the Tuesday $1 pint night like this one does. I went on a Wednesday so no dollar beer for me. Wonk wonk. They do have trivia on Wednesday though. This may be my go to place when I’m in Midland.

Well this what I get, whoever said this the best bbq lied. My ribs were hard to eat, burnt ends not burnt and hard to eat, Mac and cheese wasn’t mackin at all, bbq beans were gross as well, like I didn’t even eat my 30$ meal at all

I’m a native Texan and we have lots of BBQ places. People’s tastes are all different, so as long as the BBQ is moist, flavorful, and tender I give it a good score. The ribs here are great, meat practically falls off the bone. The turkey is very tender and delicious. The brisquit was about 30% fat, which is similar to what I’ve seen in other west Texas spots, but I don’t really like that. Who wants a third of their slice of meat to be fat? I got the 3-meat combo and just said “brisquit” then later I noticed they have a lean option. The peppery sauce was delightfully spicy without being overdone. The mustard potato salad was a bit bland, as was the cole slaw. Tuesdays are $2 beer night so that’s a bonus. Don’t let it bug you that this is attached to an HEB – they are driving this concept all over, with quality food establishments at higher end stores.

I ordered a two meat plate, ribs turkey with mac n cheese and cornbread. I also ordered a brisket potato on the side and extra bbq sauce. Well they charged for the potatoe and did not give me the potatoe with brisket, gave us zero bbq sauces, cornbread tasted like it was made two weeks ago. Turkey was dry I mean as dry as dirt, ribs were severely over cooked. Mac and cheese tasted bland, I didn’t even think that was possible. For a $30 plate I should get what I pay for but nope. I highly do not recommend this place. Worse bbq in Texas hands down.
