Good brisket, so good I wish there was more! I had a one meat plate which comes with two sides for $16.50. I got one slice of brisket. See pictures below for how small the serving is. First picture is dine-in, and the second is takeout – Same order, same store, different days. Beans and cornbread were very good though.

Best BBQ brisket I’ve ever had, with the nicest people working there! Amazing fall apart, juicy brisket and two different bomb sauces. The sides were good… classic coleslaw and baked beans that were closer to a meat rich chili, but good. Loved the white bread slices, onions, and pickles too. A great, filling dinner for $12. A great Texas BBQ experience!

The first time we went was in Kerrville, and they didn’t have any fries, she said they were out. So we chose to eat somewhere else since a lot of the other sites or items I personally did not like. The second one we went to was in The San Marcos area. I ended up ordering a sandwich, which was good, but again no fries or chips to go with a meal. The place was clean, I just wish they had a better variety. Also noticed that the desserts we got didn’t look anything like the pictured items

BBQ is on point. World class brisket. Slaw needs more zest, zing, something–it’s crunchy fresh but milky bland. Potato salad was ok (7/10). White bread got a plastic sleeve. Pickles and onions got a plastic sleeve. The fancy cardboard sarcophagus morphed into a fancy plate. I told them I was gonna eat at their tables but it was packaged all fancy–including the tiny amount of meat $12.80 earned me.

Awesome service from Chris today and a young lady with pretty blonde hair. Baked potato with chopped brisket was loaded with meat, cheese, sour cream, and chives. Pulled pork was delicious and the sausage was great. Prices are fair for good bbq! They have happy hour on drinks throughout the week and you can drink the beer while you shop at H‑E‑B. Service was quick, employees were kind and helpful, food was hot and delicious. The only thing we found not up to par was the dense, cheesy and very mushy Mac and cheese. Still good, but we might try another side next time.

The food was delicious however I ordered a 1 meat dinner plate and I only got 1 small piece of meat. I purchased several plates and we were completely cheated of our meat. It was definitely not worth 12.95 a plate. Next time I will ask how much meat comes with this price?? No complaints about the taste it just wasn’t enough.

I ordered everything on the loaded potatoes, including sour scream, didn’t get any. Flavor was good. Nothing crazy. Spendy $10 for a medium size potato and a 1/4 scoop meat

I got a sliced brisket sandwich, mostly fat. Asked for no BBQ sauce, got BBQ sauce. After I pulled all the fat out it was like a little kid’s sandwich. It’s a shame too, we really look forward to the HEB BBQ.
