Great BBQ in an area that was in need of some. Their hand ground burger is amazing. Great brisket and the house chips go great with a side of ranch..

This is our favorite new restaurant. The food is simply some of the best we’ve ever had. Seriously…EVER! The ribs are absolutely incredible.

Tremendous beef brisket and pulled pork. Good sized portions for the money and the restaurant is really nice inside, great atmosphere. A terrific bbq addition for the area, you won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to going again!

Absolutley great food and great service every time I have been there!! I usually only get the smoked wings and the pork rinds, but I finally ventured out and tried something from my norm. I tried the Trashcan nachos. Great presentation and great taste!!

Very good barbecue restaurant. Cheese biscuits were very good, even without the bacon jam. Bacon sprinkled jam set it over. I ordered the pick two plate with brisket and belly and collards and fried okra for sides. Everything was top notch. The pork belly is among the best in town, maybe even better than swig&swine. I’ll need to revisit both to determine which one I prefer but it’s win-win. The brisket was properly cooked and almost as good as lewis. There was so much fat the cellophane paper started ripping when I was cutting the meat – delicious and don’t mind the fat but I don’t want to eat paper. I suppose this is the equivalent of having the greasy bag of fries from fiveguys. Sides were good. And the great thing, it’s slightly cheaper than the top bbq places I mentioned that are in town, so Fifth star is for value. If the only negative thing I can say is the paper then this place is here to stay. I tasted the sauces on the table and all of them were good (on the sweet side) depending on your bbq sauce preference, but they’re really not needed. Definitely the best bbq for this part of Charleston. Happy eats! Please keep up the good quality. I’ll be back soon.

First time visiting the restaurant, the food was delicious and we loved the sauces. Loved their take on Mexican street corn and the mac-n-cheese was yummy in my tummy.

Got the smoked pork belly plate and it was delicious, soft inside with a great bark on the edge. Would go back to get jt again. Baked beans were also great.

We had a very nice experience. Julie took good care of us and knew the menu well. My husband and I had the chopped brisket sandwich. It was tasty and moist with some of the yummy end pieces too! My husband loved the creamy grits and I enjoyed the fried okra. My niece thought the pulled pork was really good along with her collards. Bacon jam was great with the biscuits. Manager even stopped by. I’ll go again.
