Ate here on Saturday night and it was delicious! We called around 5 to make a last minute reservation for 6:30 and we’re easily accommodated. Sat quickly when we arrived. The place isn’t too large, but they do have a large bar with seating as well. There’s a parking lot which is kind of tight but they have an overflow lot across the street as well! The place was loud with the B’s game on but not to the point where we couldn’t hear each other talk! We ordered the fried pickles and home made potato chips with caramelized onion dip to start. Both were delicious! Batter on the pickles was good, not too thick or too think and the buffalo ranch dipping sauce is what makes it! The homemade potato chips were thin, crispy, and salty and the onion dip was rich but not overpowering with onion flavor. My boyfriend ordered the burger of the month with chorizo and chiles which he said was delicious and cooked just as he ordered. And I got the Detroit style pepperoni pizza. I’ve never had Detroit style, but I loved this! The crispy, cheesy crust was my favorite part. The sauce was slightly spicy, slightly sweet on top, the pepperoni was salty and the dough was soft and chewy. 10/10! Waitress was quick and funny too!

So sad, every time I go here I order the Mongolian chicken tenders ESPECIALLY for the sauce, and this is the third time the coconut sauce it’s been spoiled. Last two times this has happened I’ve been in the restaurant so it’s an easy fix but this time I ordered take out, I was so excited for the sauce I even ordered extra. My advice is if you order this for pick up check the sauce before you leave the parking lot so that you’re not all sad and disappointed when you get home

Outstanding is an understatement. Creative chef who made each dish a special treat. Tuna appetizer was an interesting twist (avocado cucumber salsa) on a solid choice at most restaurants. Monthly special burger was Carolina gold BBQ sauce with pulled pork atop the best burger I’ve had in years. Good selection of craft beer and amazingly friendly staff. I know this sounds like a plant review. It’s not.

Solide place for a solo date. Got the New York Strip. Perfectly cooked and really good quality meat. Onion pan sauce was great. Minor critique is that I would loved more asparagus. Solid though.

My wife and I went to True North on Thursday August 25th for our last dinner before heading back up to New York. From the drinks, to the food and service we would gladly go back. I got a lemon drop martini and my wife got a sangria. For dinner I got the pork Milanese which came with arugula and tomatoes and I also got a bowl of the chicken and corn chowder (AMAZING). My wife got the braised short rib with garlic mash and asparagus. Asparagus was cooked PERFECTLY and the short rib could not have been more tender. She also got a cup of the clam chowder. Another thing tk note on Thursday’s they have a ‘fixed price’ menu where you get a cup of soup or salad, a drink and an entree of your choice that is on their list of options so my dinner was 36 bucks! Our server was Lynne L and she was so nice. Overall 10/10 would recommend and I’m so sad it’s so far away! We will be back 🙂

We went for father’s day. The service was great and the food was amazing. We got the calamari, steak, burger, pasta and fish n chips. The calamari was crispy, flavorful and yummy. It came with a spicy mayo dip. The burger was Juicy, tender and perfectly cooked. The fries were super crispy and tasty. Pasta was okay. It had a Mexican spin on it. The fish was super flaky. Overall, it was pricey but worth it. Would come back

Great atmosphere….our waitress, Michelle, was friendly and personable. Food was good. I had steak tips, however I’d ask for the medium. Well they were more on the well side, and they weren’t tender. My big complaint is our waitress never came back to ask us if we if everything was okay if we enjoy the mail what not. Never offered me another drink until I flagged it down and got one so I’d say she wasn’t attentive, it didn’t seem that busy and there were other waitresses so I don’t know what the issue was. That being said, I would give them another try. I want to go back and try the Detroit Pizza and maybe won their burgers

We celebrated Father’s Day 2022 here. The stuff were above and beyond friendly and helpful! We ordered the NY strip steak and Halibut special for entrees and butterfinger bread pudding for dessert. Can’t wait to be back!

My brunch bestie & I decided to try a brunch spot closer to home, so we chose True North. Not crowded at all, and we were seated right away. I was a little disappointed they don’t offer a Mimosa bar, or bottomless Mimosa’s, nor is it on the menu. However, the can make them upon request. I should’ve stuck to what I know, because the drink I ordered was way too strong for me: The Painkiller. The french toast is huge, but didn’t have much flavor. It was meh. The home fries were amazing. My brunch bestie loved her omelette with salmon & veggies. I left tipsy. It was a good day.
