Nice little drive from Macon. Tru Blue Bar-BQ was good BBQ. Pickle chips always a fun appetizer. Had the pulled pork tots yummy! The table BBQ sauce was the star in this place. Tangy and sweet the way it should be. Pork steak tender and ribs were very good.

Finally got the chance to try this new place and let me tell you, it was the perfect experience. I had the “Deadlift Burger” and a couple of the appetizers. Between the timely service and very reasonable pricing, I’ll be coming back again and very often.

First thing, they have fried green beans! So that’s a bonus. Also, for being a local BBQ place they do a good job, and have the hometown diner feel that I like. And the food is good. Both in the restaurant and the food truck (which I’ve had in other places). I’m a fan of the pulled pork fries or tater tots, and my wife had the ribs and they were fall off the bone good.

There are usually 5 stars. But that last two times food didn’t have quite as good of taste as it used to. Prices are excellent couldn’t ask for better. Usually the service is better than tonight also. Depends on your waitress. But I will go back the amount you get for the price is excellent.
