As someone born and raised in Jamaica it sucks to say this but the truth is the truth. Do not waste your money here. Service is awful and the food isn’t much better. Extremely rude staff and subpar food. Ordered rice and peas and chicken and instead they served me slop with a side of attitude and smirk. There are many wayyy better tasting and way better service Jamaican restaurants around. I’d give a lower rating if it was possible. Definitely not worth the money. Hardly edible.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. Unfortunately, as I write this review they have been temporarily shut down and I’m hoping they return sooner than later. Food has always been consistent and good. First pick for Jamaican food around Chicagoland.

One of the best Jerk spots….HANDS DOWN!!! I use to go all the time when they were in Maywood. Now the have a bigger and better place the food is even better. Huge portions, quality ingredients and awesome packing for carry out. The Jerk Catfish is my all time favorite. But if you love white meat then this is the place for you. Always fresh and juicy! That mac and cheese is bomb as well. This will forever be my jerk spot. Not too many places can compete!

I love this place the owners are my favorite. The food is awesome. I recommend everyone go here you will not be disappointed. My mom and I love the Jerk fish and Jerk Chicken combo. With rice and peas, plantains and cabbage.

The food here is consistently good. It’s hard to find good Jamaican food in the suburbs unless it’s home cooked. This is their new location and I willingly traveled from the West Suburbs for the food. When you come during the day, you can smell and see that they’re making the jerk chicken in the back. So authentic, good and not expensive.
