I went here on April 20th and was sparked to review after discussing delicious food carts with an associate. So here I am a little late to the review but I can still remember the one small visit that I had there because that place left such an impact on me.

THE BEST Amazing customer service and even better food. It’s really hard to find a good taco spot around here but finally we found the one. Definitely recommend the Al Pastor tacos if you visit this place. So good

I ordered Plato de birria with lamb as the meat. It was one of the best things I have ever eaten. I have never tried lamb cooked in birria style before. I will be coming back for sure

I wanted a taco salad but couldn’t find it on the menu so the owner helped me pick out the next best thing, The Codero Bowl 🙂 The salad was tasty and I was impressed by the presentation, perfect rows of tomatoes and grilled corn. It’s nice to see a restaurant that takes pride in the food they make. They were also very caring towards my dog and gave her a cup of water while we waited.

Went here for dinner, and really enjoyed the food and the service! The owners are great people – super friendly, and welcoming. I tried 4 tacos (carnitas, chorizo, al pastor, and pollo), and all were delicious. The al pastor and chorizo were my favorite! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

Atmosphere was great, and so was the service. Unfortunately there’s absolutely no flavor or seasoning on the carne asada. The quantity you receive may make up for the poor taste if you are simply hungry. But being hispanic myself, I expect way more. The salsas are a miss as well. Not sure if this is experience is a one off or because you are relatively new, but this would lead me to continuing my trip out to La Real off of pacific highway.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Everything was amazing, I especially loved the al pastor and asada. This is definitely our new go-to taco spot!

This place is awesome. Friendly and great customer service. Al pastor is really good, but don’t sleep on the asada. Will definitely return, probably on a weekly basis. The tacos come with cilantro, onion and a sauce… the sauce is great, but if you are unsure on your spicy tolerance, ask for it on the side.

Born and raised in Southern California I was spoiled with really amazing Mexican food. After moving to Portland it was difficult for me to find anything that compares in taste, quality and price. This place is sooooo good. The ingredients are hot and fresh with sauces that pack a lot of heat & flavor. They also come with the grilled Serranos and onions on the side if you ask 🙂 Service was great.
