The fried chicken was absolutely wonderful! The side vegetables were delicious as well. The hospitality was excellent. I had a chance to sit down and talk with Matthew Reams the owner and had a great conversation. Looking forward to going back soon!!

I was never in this town before and had to go to the courthouse. Afterwards, I was hungry and noticed a police car, an emergency vehicle, and a lot of local work trucks there, so I figured that was the place to go. BOY – was I right!

This is good country cooking -at least on Fridays when we go for a fried catfish meal. Our table of 6 raved about the catfish & chicken with light & crispy coatings & the mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, & cabbage. The setting is rustic & staff are friendly. Food is served cafeteria style, but menu ordering is available.

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat and had always thought we would stop in and give them a try. Today was the day we finally did and boy are we glad!!! The restaurant is very homey and welcoming. The employees were friendly and the food was delicious! We brought the fried pecan pie home and oh, my!!!! We’ll be going back just for that. Do yourself a favor and stop in if your in thr area. You won’t be disappointed!

We lucked upon this quaint little town with a cafe that has mind blowing good food. The homemade pimento cheese is the best I have ever had anywhere! Would love the recipe. The Brown town burger with blue cheese was delish and the fried pecan pie….well it was the best thing I have EVER eaten. If you are travelling through this part of Alabama this place is a most stop!
