I wish I could give five stars but based on my overall experience it is a 3 and here’s why.

A friend and myself stopped by for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Walking inside it looked like a mini sports bar. They had multiple tvs up with different games on. The menu was small and quick to order as advertised. Our food came out within five minutes. The salsa was good with a little kick to it.

This place is the absolute BEST!!! It’s authentic, flavorful and reasonable! I’m a severe food critic and I have eaten just about every place in LaGrange. I say without a doubt this is hands down THE BEST RESTAURANT IN LAGRANGE!!! I have been on two different trips and the service atmosphere and food is the same! I could go on and on but I’m ready to finish my meal! I highly recommend this place. This food is absolutely wonderful!!!

Really wanted to like this place ordered a chicken taco and side of rice. The rice is just plain white rice not Spanish or Mexican rice. Disappointing. The tace was so soggy it just fell apart also quite Disappointing. They need to toast the taco shells so they don’t fall apart. I ended up srapping the shell and mixing the chicken with the rice. Everything was pretty bland even though i got the spicy taco with jalapeños and pineapple. Don’t think I’ll be back. Better off going to mi pueblito

Despite hearing about the lack luster food, my friend and I decided to give this place a chance. Great location, great building, very clean bathroom, and that’s where the good news ends. I am shocked to see so many 4+ reviews, but not that surprised if the people leaving the reviews really like taco bell quality tacos (even that is being very generous). Although, even taco bell offers ground beef (the most basic of taco meats) unlike this place. I see they will now be offering it “by request” but it shouldn’t be something that people have to request. Ground beef isn’t a groundbreaking food concept.

As long as you do one thing extremely well, you can do one thing and have a successful business. Trios Cantina does just that.

I’m usually very picky when it comes to Mexican food but this, hands down, was delicious. One of the best nachos and Bowls I’ve ever had. The chicken is beautifully marinated and super soft. Love the Queso and Salsa Verde.

This place is way too pricy for what you get. The food is good, but very underwhelming. The Roja and Verde salsas were good, but the “hot sauce” threw me off as it was just some Trappeys Louisiana hot sauce (not the right flavor vibe at all). Kids meals don’t come with a drink, the chips are cold and hard. But the food seemed fresh. The staff just takes your order like a fast food restaurant and barely makes eye contact. My suggestion is if you’re in the mood for Mexican food, just go to Los Nopales or another local authentic Mexican restaurant, as you get way more food for your money, better service and better chips and salsa! I was bummed.

Fast food style ordering for a sit down restaurant? Self serve salsa and chips for your table (as in you have to go make it yourself).. $25 on 3 tacos and a margarita for one person.. the food was good but not that good especially for the lack of service. First and only time coming here

Delicious tex-mex! I’m picky abot my steak quesadilla. It very easily topped my list. Husband had the pork tacos and really enjoyed them.
