Great new farm to table style restaurant in Capitola Village. Food and service were good, were well portioned but their sides were mainly purées (not always a fan). Would recommended ordering their salads as appetizer. Drink menu is limited, and cocktails were small.

The cooks here have good culinary sense. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable and the servers are affable. The ingredient combinations are truly wonderful, from the pork and apple to the butternut squash and Mole sauce. We will be back.

Amazing food. Hidden gem. Great date night dinner. We visit Monterey Bay Area annually for decades and try new restaurants each year. Trestles is phenomenal and we were so pleasantly surprised how good the food was — it’s a small enough place that can keep tight control over their food quality and staff. Amazing tastes, variety, attentive and friendly employees. Loved the limited menu = delicious food that is thoughtfully made. Everything is cooked in open kitchen. Great wine selections as well and the wine “cocktails” were also fun — loved the Wine take on a Moscow Mule. Will be coming back for sure.

Very impressive first outing. Great wine selection, including one of my favorite rose sparklers. One of the tastiest steak preparations I’ve had in quite some time, and all the small plates were equally great. They definitely need to expand the dessert menu, can’t say the single offering, brownie à la mode, was better than just fine. Will definitely be coming back soon!

We first visited Trestles last year and we felt in love with their food. For our anniversary this year, we decided to go back. It was a great experience, as always. We had the ahi tuna poke as an appetizer, and it was just marvelous. For our entrees, we both had the market fish, and that day it was scallops. IT WAS DIVINE! We added the butter lettuce salad as a side and it was a perfect combination. Lovely staff, beautiful ambiance. Cannot wait to come back!!

Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. My favorites were the scallops with pork belly and their crispy poke tacos. The whole crew gave off a great vibe and the executive chef, Nick, was rad!

I was really excited to eat here. I ended up taking my mother and her husband out for my mother’s birthday. The waitresses were so incredibly unwelcoming besides the gal who served us, she was really nice. The food was incredibly pretentious and expensive but was not that good. My steak, which was $50+, was tough and chewy. Not worth the time or the money. I love good food and am so willing to spend good money on it. I will not be coming back to this mediocre restaurant pretending to be a fine dining establishment.

A hidden gem in the area. Upscale with a chill atmosphere. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to interact with. We sat outside which was just perfect. The food was amazing. Started with pork belly app, had the scallops and New York strip entrees and finished with the Chilean brownie and cheesecake. Can’t wait to come back.
