We went to this little gem on a cold rainy day and it was warm and fun inside, with delicious food that was worth every penny! Our server (Whitney) was AMAZING and had excellent suggestions on how to mix things up like dipping the nachos in their hatch green chili. Would definitely go again to try all the tacos on their menu!

We found this place while up at the Bizarre Cat Bizarre today and what a gem it is! We had excellent service and had the salsa flight, the daily special (fried pig belly tacos) and the loaded papas. We finished everything because it was absolutely delicious!

Nice little restaurant that offers outside or inside dining. I ordered the cheese enchilada’s with rice, black beans, and the veggies. The presentation was great. The food also tasted good. The reason I gave the food 3 stars was because the cheese enchilada’s didn’t meet my expectations. They didn’t have much cheese. In my opinion, a more accurate description of what was served would be 3 small cheese quesadilla’s, with very little cheese, smothered in red sauce. Every other restaurant where I’ve ordered cheese enchilada’s serves a rolled shell filled with lots of cheese. That’s what I was expecting. Also, the menu doesn’t say that there’s a $4 upcharge for the veggies. I feel that should be communicated on the menu to avoid confusion. In summary, if you go to this restaurant I’d recommend that you ask your server for a detailed description of what your ordering to make sure you’ll be getting what you expect. Also, when you order, ask about upcharges that aren’t identified on the menu.

I am visiting family. I am from DC and lived in El Paso. Mexican food is one of my favorites. While up in Nederland we saw Tres Gringos and wanted to try it. WOW am I glad we did. The good was absolutely amazing and dripping in flavors. Started off with an amazing salsa and spicy margarita. The flavors of the salsa were so good. Made me wish we selected the Flight of Salsa.

What a wonderful surprise. I’m usually unimpressed with most Mexican food places, but Tres Gringos was excellent. Fresh, flavorful food made with care. We had the veggie enchiladas and the mushroom taco and the fried cod taco. (plenty for 2 people). They were all amazing. The mushroom taco especially. Toss in friendly service, and this place is a real winner! I would eat here every week if I could

My wife and I enjoyed lunch here after a hike. The flavors of the food were amazing and their chips are made in house! Really fun atmosphere and you can tell the owners take pride in this little slice you yummy heaven. The Margs were great as well. We will be back the next time we are in the area!!

Ordered a Barbados enchilada with amazing tropical hot sauce, got exactly what I ordered and loved it! The chef is one of the best in the foothills, and makes food that is both authentic AND classy! As locals, we will return again and again; great service and great food!

I did not enjoy the meal here at all. Exceptionally greasy quesadilla. After half I just asked them to throw it out. Menu has unreasonably high upcharges for things like vegetables. If this is four and a half stars in Ned, then this town isn’t worth stopping in to eat.

We 1st discovered Tres Gringos after completing the Ned Gravel Gravel Bike Race in 2021. Now we stop by for lunch or dinner every time that we visit Nederland, CO – about once a month. The menu is consistently outstanding! Both the set menu and the occasional specials are amazing. If you ate in Nederland, make sure to stop by!!!
