This was my first time here and I must say the food was well prepared and delicious. I had the chicken fried chicken with rice, gravy, and some veggies. The chicken and veggies were absolutely tender. When I say the veggies were tender, they were not hard when I ate them. At the same time, they were not soft, but cooked just right. The rice was cooked very nice and consistent. It was right on time. I’m definitely going to be back. Cheers!

Delicious food, great spot in the Downtown Tunnels. The fried chicken was seasoned and juicy!! Loved the gravy. The red beans and rice were flavorful and the added piece of sausage is a must. My coworker tried the chocolate cake and it looked amazing!! I’m definitely returning soon on my lunch break!

We stopped in for lunch on a Friday and I enjoyed the baked catfish with crawfish etouffee and my wife liked the seafood gumbo. The staff were extremely friendly and the whole establishment is very clean and welcoming.

So glad Treebeards survived Covid. My favorite is RED BEANS AND RICE with Tabasco! Etouffe and Gumbo is a close 2nd followed by blackened catfish smothered in Etouffe! So many HARD decisions…

The Shrimp Etouffee is really good, but when you order by a delivery service, I think they rip you off and pile more onions, bell pepper and celery. and they actually give you a 5$ cup of rice, gravy and shrimp. Now, that’s not right! Like the food..,but I definitely will not reorder online through a delivery service ever again. This is not the first time this has happen to me with them!!! smh ♀️

Me and a couple guys from work have went here several times for lunch. The food is good and even with long lines it goes really fast. If you want a cajun style meal that’s quick this is the place to go. Come try the gumbo and the corn bread l.
