I had heard good things and had high expectations for Tratto, it’s been on my radar for a while. Food was good, nothing spectacular or impressive. A classic Italian cuisine, Tagliatelle with Duck Leg Ragu and the Chicken Livers dish were the highlights of the night. Ambiance is rustic and retro, nice place for a date night or group of friends. Presentation and platting were dull and could improve. Service was excellent and staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Menu seems to partially change frequently, not updated online. Wine menu was decent , they have an open kitchen concept facing a wide bar which offers seating and same menu as well. Overall, an average experience

All the appetizers were really good the chicken liver was a hefty portion and the lettuce salad was so simple but very tasty.

Amazing meal start to finish. Top quality ingredients treated with care. All the dishes had subtle, balanced flavors, nothing overwhelming. We had the focaccia with whipped ricotta, gem lettuce salad, crispy gnocchi, asparagus, and pork chops. Started with an amuse of pickled strawberry with balsamic drizzle. Superb experience and we can’t wait to go back.

We were so excited to eat here after tasting the amazing pizza at Bianco. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Atmosphere is supremely relaxing, cozy and intimate. Menu selections are simple yet interesting and limited enough to think you will get an individual and carefully prepared meal. Pretty much the good ends here. Raw and I mean cold raw, bone in (very small bones) halibut. It was inedible and off putting. Pork chops had a nice flavor but smothered in sauce and surrounded by so much fat it was unpleasant to eat. Pasta with pork belly was good as well as the chicken livers if you like them (I do). The star might have been the mushrooms yet the blue oyster mushrooms were incredibly over salted. Chocolate and cheese dessert contained a brittle (!) that would break teeth and was unimaginative with some white chocolate chunks and shaved cheese. Plum and peach crumble was soggy and didn’t quite know which flavor to take on. We were so disappointed maybe because we had high expectations. Definitely many better restaurants if you want to spend money for fresh and simply prepared cuisine. So sad because we wanted to love it. I’d come back for wine and focaccia at the bar because of the service and lovely setting.

This place is not the same as it was when in Town and Country. Hanging on to Biancos reputation. The chickens had to be returned because the were over cooked to where it was like eating chicken thighs. The second batch was a little better but still not the melt

We went to Tratto after hearing about Chris Bianco’s pasta concept for Pizzeria Bianco and we absolutely loved this place! Getting a reservation here was a bit difficult given its popularity, and we had to book 3 weeks out for a Thursday night 8 PM dinner reservation. The ambience inside is perfect for those wanting a vibrant yet intimate date night. For appetizers, we ordered the Farinata (an absolute must!) with fresh bread and olive oil. We spoke with the wine sommelier who recommended us a fantastic Italian red to pair with our selections.

Excellent and lovely meal! Everything tasted so fresh and distinct. We sat at the bar, so we ordered lots of great drinks from the friendly and knowledgeable bartender. The olive oil ice cream was wild, weird, but oh so wonderful.
