Passed by this place many many times, and very happy we finally stopped in for dinner. It’s a casual “split format” place with a casual pizza place on one side and a craft beer place on one side. But they are connected and you can do both on either side. The pizza is “Detroit style” which just seems to mean; thick, square, lots of topping options….and delish!

A little pricey but the fresh taste is worth it. We had a 10×14 supreme pizza and it was large enough for 4 of us to eat with leftover slices. The pizza was really thick but light bread which was different, kind of like a french toast pizza. They close at 8pm we thought that was a little early for a Friday night. Service was good, place was clean but pretty bare inside which also makes it ez to clean. Overall I would go there again, the pizza sauce was freshly different and tasted really good.

Not inexpensive, but love this place. It’s actually two businesses in one building with two sides. Craft is the other side with more seating, classic video game consoles on the high tops. Massive selection of constant rotation craft beer. Really awesome to try stuff you liked in bottle on tap. Super enthusiastic staff to scope out what you enjoy, and happy to provide tasters/samples.

The prosciutto, fig, and hot honey Detroit Style was fantastic. This place is perfect for kids as well as they hve several table with old school Nintendo games setup to a wall mounted TV and it gives the adults space and time to enjoy the food and drinks.

Quickly becoming my new favorite place to grab some grub! The Ceasar Salad & Slice combo is what I live for! That salad smacks harder than any Ceasar salad you could put it up against! I. Am. Sold! You guys will be seeing us regularly!!

No idea why this is rated so low. Transplant serves excellent pizza at reasonable prices. The menu is simple while the flavor is complex. Seriously, they share a building with a tap house and you didn’t have a 4+ star experience?! I’d happily return, because they were the best pizza I ate in Tucson. You’re best ordering a small because the larger pies are very filling.

Came here for a quick lunch waiting for a windshield replacement across the street. Decided Detroit style is not my style. Three cheese slice was cheap but had little cheese and very crispy crust. Would have easily paid more for reasonable amount of cheese. Here at lunchtime Monday and I’m the only customer here. They’re playing Spanish language Latin American music, which would be fine in a Mexican restaurant. But perhaps Motown might be more appropriate? Love pizza but won’t be back here.

I’ve been wanting to come check this place out. I’m a big fan of Detroit style pizza but I have to say this was fantastic! At first I thought the prices were a bit high but if you just go for the pizza and a beer and plan to stay to then this is a great place to spend an afternoon and enjoy your lunch. The outside was great as well as the inside. The Tap room next door with the NES games is a great idea.

Expensive pizza, but I always come back for more. The thick-crust, Detroit style pizza is great. You can always get good beer at the taproom in the same building. Always a great place to meet up with my friends.

I love pizza and I grew up near Boston and live in Manhattan. I KNOW good pizza. This pizza isn’t just good, it’s GREAT! I would rank it right towards the top as best in Tucson. And the staff was very friendly and informative. I got the double pepperoni and gobbled down 1 1/2 pieces in the restaurant and boxed up the rest, which I enjoyed for two additional meals. It traveled and heated up fairly well, but I would highly recommend eating it right there, right out of the oven, if you can. It was spectacular!
