We have been here a few times. Enjoyed the drinks but the food is overpriced and less than desirable. $18 brisket sandwich which should have been sold as a grilled cheese w brisket. Avocado salad had inedible avacado on it. I’ve never had sour avocado before.

I think Toby had fun with his card filling his own cup. Surprised him to see it is only 3.47¢. Pay by the weight? awesome band Blue Siren. They need to come to Austin. We had dinner at #1, walked to #2, saw the band, Blue Siren. Some other known bands was in town, they happened to be at our hotel. We had breakfast together. Cool town. We’ve been on the road for 11 days, left Austin drove to Rhode Island, and back, we’re house hunting. I’m sick of Texas. Sorry, I’m not at home there. We try to make it an adventure. We stop at the most random places during our travels. We travel for the local pub n grub. We were both happy with our meals. Server was awesome.

Upon walking in the atmosphere was Charming, Pleasant and appropriate for the town setting. Franklin is a beautiful town that is very well kept. The craft beers were good and as unique as the atmosphere. And as far as the food goes we had an entree. Very reasonably priced for today’s inflated economy. Portion sizes were generous, you felt as if you got more than your money’s worth. And it was delicious. I did not care for the music but that’s personal , I did not think it fit the atmosphere. And at one point the bartender was inattentive. I will be back.

Smaller brewery with lots of different styles of beer. Quality also. Blueberry wheat was tart but good and aged Irish red was excellent. Pizza looked yummy

Awesome, outstanding service on our 32nd wedding Anniversary. Can’t go wrong with the Dill Pickle or Wild Mushroom wood-fired pizza.

Very busy on 12/26… call ahead for a reservation! Started with a (meh) french onion soup. A bit bland, but at least it wasn’t too salty. The highlights were the potato chips and the wild mushroom pizza. Ridiculously good.

On a recent visit to NW PA, our friends suggested we eat dinner at Trails to Ales. I enjoyed the open-front atmosphere (though traffic noise was, well, very noisy) and friendly, fast service. I had a wild-mushroom personal pizza that, for me, had perfect, chewy crust (neither too thick nor too thin) and excellent toppings–different from any pizza I’ve had before. The Mud Puppy Stout was a great accompaniment. My wife and friends also enjoyed eating here. I highly recommend this place for a reasonably priced, informal meal when in this interesting little Pennsylvania town!

We went on a Monday night, and apparently that’s trivia night. It was packed full with not much turnover, so we had to wait a bit. We tried several apps, all of them were OK, but none really stood out. I had the pickle pizza, which was pretty good. I ended up getting a side of Buffalo sauce to drizzle on it, and I thought that was a good addition. Our waitress was really great. Despite being crazy busy, she was friendly, and in a good mood, and was on top of things.

Love their selection of beer! Lots of drink choices. Had their pretzel and it was good! The Mud Puppy and Steam Beer were quite good! Great place!

Wonderful beers some are less flavorful than others and I didn’t enjoy the one but they let you have a sample so I was able to find a beer I liked the soft pretzel is a nice little snack and has four dipping sauces so it’s good to share. The ribs and mac and cheese are huge!
