First of all, there aren’t many Polish restaurants left. So technically, they could set the bar low and still succeed. However, this restaurant is awesome! The flavors are unbelievable. The Zurek soup is as good or better as something you get in Poland. Nice job. Five stars all the way!!

This was a complete surprise! What a wonderful experience from the gorgeous decor to the fantastic young server. This place is outstanding. I had stuffed cabbage with red sauce. DELICIOUS! Best cabbage rolls I have ever had. My daughter-in-law had goulash and potato pancake. It was excellent. The flight of liquors was yummy. They make their own cherry and lemon liquor. You can purchase these delicious drinks to take home to enjoy later. Ask for Beata. She is an outstanding server. She understands how to make customers feel welcome. I will definitely be back. Outstanding Polish restaurant.

My in laws are Polish, like straight from Poland, and I have been to Poland multiple times so my review is likely harsher than your average person. The food was mostly good but lacking in a few areas. We all ordered a soup, Zurek is my favorite. All the soups were lacking salt. I’m not a salt fiend but soup broth should be a little salty and it was not, I found myself adding table salt to the broth. Additionally my Zurek came with one half an egg which can be traditional but felt a little cheap here. I ordered kielbasa with cabbage, fried pierogi, and latke/potato pancakes. The kielbasa was good, the potato pancakes also mostly good (some were soggy not crunchy) but the fried pierogi I cannot recommend. I would’ve just gotten regular pierogi if I had know . Overall, I do really like this place and the atmosphere is . Additionally our service was great. If you are looking for above average Polish food I would come here but it’s not phenomenal in my opinion.

Came here as a party of 6 for a birthday dinner. Everything was great. Had a zubrowka, arugula salad, and fried pierogi to start. Also was helpful that they had a kids menu. Would definitely come back.

SO GOOD!! I’ve been here twice with my family and both times the food was amazing and the servers are great and so funny. They always give us the best suggestions so definitely listen to their recommendations. The drinks are great too, they even have their own home made liquor which goes down so smooth and tastes great. Will be back for sure, definitely check this place out.

We have been coming to Tradycja for a long time and have loved it. We recently had a wedding rehearsal dinner here and they could not have done a better job. Everything was amazing! From the food and service to the setup of our room. We could not have asked for more. They went above a beyond and all of our guests loved it! The ambience in this restaurant is so welcoming and beautiful. Great for a private event or a meal.

Absolutely incredible! The highland cottage interior (beautiful wood carvings everywhere) and Polish pop songs playing really made me feel like I was in Poland! And the food was INCREDIBLE! My Polish platter was so filling and had the best of everything…like the best sauerkraut I’ve had in my life. I am definitely going back!

I am Polish and grew up with my grandmother making Polish cuisine. Was hesitant to try this place because Orland is not known for their restaurants. I really liked it. The cabbage rolls and tomato sauce were the best I have ever had. The breaded pork chop, mashed potatoes and potato pancakes were good, but not great. Needed more seasoning and a little greasy. Our server was excellent. Sweet young woman from Poland. The restaurant itself was very cute and clean. Will definitely go back for the cabbage rolls, perogi and to try other things on the menu. One of the better restaurants I have tried in Orland/Frankfort/Mokena area. Very reasonably priced too.

I was verry disappointed how bad was food and service. Food was made in deep oil fryer, everything tasted the same, doesn’t matter if you order chicken or pork. The worst are fries, not even homemade. If you go to the restaurant you are expecting somthing better prepared and taste, not like in fast food restaurants.
