I’ve always wondered what the draw of hotel bars were… now I understand and acknowledge that the Whitley is on par with a few boutique SF AND NYC hotel’s I’ve stayed in.

We were too tired to go out to eat so we order room service and y’all the food was on point! The ribeye was cooked perfect and they were able to substitute Asparagus instead of Brussels sprouts for me. We also ordered a side of Mac & Cheese and truffle fries both amazing! For dessert the brownie and vanilla ice cream hit the spot!

This restaurant is in a hotel (Whitley) but there was no formal host to welcome us, so no point of having made a reservation. We finally found a random waiter and asked where we could sit. They offered us a spot in the dining room, which was empty as if it was shut down. Everyone else was in the main room and bar area. Once we finally did have a server, it was ages between taking each order between drinks, appetizers, and main. Cocktails were lackluster to terrible. Food was average. Prawns were actually good. Ribs were too sweet and lacked fresh taste. Sad that the cornbread was the highlight. Never to return.

It’s such a shame, this place is so beautiful, great location and the food is really good. But this is my second visit here and the service is just terrible. From the Valet who are so slow, to the bartenders, to the servers. Most importantly, this is not really a restaurant, it is a lounge. We made reservations for a birthday dinner and we’re initially seated at a very low lounge table chairs….impossible to eat from. While we did get moved to a high top, the service was so slow we waited forever! They should not be allowed to take reservations for dinner. Very disappointing!

My husband and I decided on this restaurant purely for it location. The reviews were not great but we decided to go anyway. The food was really good, the desert was out of this world, the staff was attentive and kind. One of our waiters was “Memphis”, it was his first night but he was amazing. He was nice, talked with us, and backed off when he needed to. We will definitely be back!!!

At noon, on a Wednesday in Buckhead, we were the only table. That was the first thing that seemed a little off. It’s a brightly lit place that’s awkwardly positioned around the corner from the bar so it felt as if we were in a conference room by ourselves. No music, no atmosphere at all. Service was fine, a bit rushed and a little haphazard, but not unpleasant. The appetizers (boiled peanut hummus with fresh and pickled veggies, rolls with bacon jam and honey butter) were well executed and incredibly tasty. The mains were just okay. I had a spinach salad with strawberries and chicken that wasn’t that different in taste or quality than what you could get at the Cheesecake Factory across the street. My co-workers got the Burrata salad and Turkey Burger with sweet potato tots. The tots were very good, the burger was okay and the Burrata would have been great had we not found a hair (!) wrapped up in the prosciutto half way through. Yuck. It happens in restaurants, I know, and they comped it for us, which was awesome. But it just capped off a “meh” experience with even more “meh”. For the price, the service and food should be pretty stellar, they were not.

Had a birthday high tea here with some close friends, the chef was nice to accommodate veg options for my friends at short notice, we had so much between us we had to do boxes – didn’t want to waste any of the delicacies. Nice collection of teas too.

Disappointed that the restaurant is closed and they now serve food in the bar which is really a ballroom in the hotel. Restaurant is closed through September. These are the hair brained moments when you realize it’s Marriott pulling the strings. Who shuts down a restaurant in the Ritz for 6 months??????

Food, service, drinks, and ambiance was great! Stumbled in, thought I was underdressed because it looks so elegant, but everything & everyone was fine. Worth returning!
