This place hasn’t changed in years. And why should it? This is a classic country plate lunch spot. Nothing fancy but good food at better prices. The daily specials are what many come for and I do look forward to their country style steak. Most things here taste homemade and the service always seems to keep up even when this place packs out.

I go there to get what i usually get at homestyle restaurants like diners and cafes would serve a plate with daily entrees veggies and desserts for inflation proof prices a full breakfast under 9 dollars is rare. I tip 3 dollars everytime. The gravy sometimes its runny sometimes its grey and gluey depending on when. Service is great they try their hardest when things get busy and it does. Ive never seen it not. Good food great prices and the place for networking local people because the whole senior class goes there like i usually see in places like this with the businesses on the tables and scripture hide and seeks. I just hope the rest of the people tip well like me. I work for a living and serving food is a great service when you get 30 mins to eat i can sit order eat and leave most of the time.

They made my daughter a mini mouse pancake and we didn’t even ask for it. Burgers were like the thin frozen kind so was ok. Cheap food which was decent. Alot cheaper then some places so we didn’t mind

We waited 45 min for two omelets and everyone around us who had been there 10 min or less were served before us. The server said it was because they had a lot of tickets and it was the kitchens fault. Well duh. So they don’t know how to order tickets obviously. Food was okay not anything worth waiting that long for. The server apologized but was full of excuses and sharing too much information with other guests (it being someone’s first day and sharing personal issues; very u professional).

They have a great staff clean environment the food is very great tasting Southern home cooked makes you feel like you’re at Grandma’s house great place to go if you like to sit down and eat and talk with your family and enjoy your food at the same time

Delicious down home cooking. They have options for lite or larger appetites for their lunch and dinner meals or vegetable plates. I’ve eaten there several times, food is always good. Parking is tight at the doors during prime meal times but there is extended parking towards the rear. The tables have trivia questions and the answers are scattered amongst the images on the table. Fun way to pass the time but food usually comes very quickly. Staff is friendly.
