This was my 1st time trying this establishment. The host was very friendly and helpful by providing information in ordering pizza. It took about 45 to 50 minutes to receive the order, but it was definitely worth the wait. The pizza was hot and I enjoyed it. I’ve never had the Chicago style pizza, and it was delicious. The toppings inside the pizza . I would highly recommend this place. The only negative was the crust, It was very tough. I ordered the bbq/Carne pizza.

This is very good pizza. Ingredients taste fresh and the atmosphere is cool and relaxed. The prices aren’t bad for the quality. The deep dish crust has a nice little bit of crunch to it. Not a big fan of thin crust but it was probably one of the better ones I have had. I’ve been a few times and when I’m in the mood for pizza it’s certainly toward the top of my list.

I was told about Tortugas several years ago and I was so late trying them out even though I’ve spent many a day around the Southside near Railroad Park/Regions Field. Don’t miss out for years like I did! This pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Birmingham. Service was quality it’s pleasant and overall enjoyable. The ingredients are fresh and as you can see from this photo I couldn’t wait to take a piece. It’s worth the money to me. I think I will try the deep dish one day but this thin crust is a hit and the pizza I have here is on the menu. Circling back to this pizza spot soon!

This is the best pizza in Birmingham and it’s not even close. If you like Chicago deep dish be sure to check them out. The downtown location is right across the street from Region’s Field and adjacent to Good People Brewery. The service is amazing. Buckle up for good pizza!

the best deep dish pizza pie I have had outside of Chicago. the crust is buttery and crisp like Lou Malnatis and the sauce is a bit sweet like Giordanos. the one we had was delightful with even a slightly smokey sausage. go enjoy repeat.

Chicago style pizza is a treat not everyone can pull off and you won’t find at every pizza place. Despite it’s name they are a delicious deep dish pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, the veggies weren’t over cooked, the sauce a nice flavor. I would recommend a few recipe Tweeks. But worth the cook time. Met the family owners and they are so nice. This is a business that deserves your support you won’t be disappointed and hope staffing shortages won’t close it down

We love this place & the food is so good. The pizza was really good & so was the half order of lasagna we tried. We arrived 5 mins early (forgot to check the time they open on Saturday) but a very sweet girl unlocked the door & both girls were welcoming & told us to come on in. Our service was amazing, the staff is so friendly & the food is great!
