Went for a celebration dinner and there were 5 of us, all adults. They do not have a low top that can accommodate 5. When I asked because my mom had mobility issues, the hosts recommended we go next door to the pizza grill. I asked if there is full menu there, she said that no, it was a more family friendly menu. She seated us at a high top and my mom struggled to get in the chair but made it.

I’d say this place’s food is of course well below average. I was ashamed and disappointed that the check was as much as it was for the least enticing and enjoyable food offered for that price. What’s worse is that it is ok for someone to believe this rubbish is acceptable for service. This should have come out the back side of a food truck at the end of a day in a black bag, not a place claiming to have this level of class and skill. The mark was clearly missed. You may be better off dining elsewhere (pizza hut?)

This is another of those places you see, but never try because it doesn’t “look right” based on the location. Tucked into a strip mall-like area behind a grocery store, Tortoras is hard to miss unless you’re looking for it. When you finally find it, though, your nose will tell you that you’re in the right place for good food!

My husband and I really really want to love this place. It’s visually pleasant local restaurant that in our opinion has a lot of potential. While the atmosphere is pretty nice and the pizza oven just plain looks cool, the food is really lacking.
