Randomly phone ordered a couple breakfast burritos on our way out of town. Everyone is so nice and honestly, the breakfast burritos are among the best we’ve had. And we freaking love breakfast burritos. We’re pretty much self-proclaimed breakfast burrito connoisseurs. Ordered a crispy bacon with potato, egg, and cheese, and a steak with potatoes, egg, and cheese. They were both BOMB I don’t know which I like better. The habanero salsa is good with it, it’s not too spicy but gives a good amount of heat. This is for sure our to-go spot to scoop up a BB on the way out of town from now on.

Great Mexican food. Good for carryout. It’s our favorite spot in Anthem, but they’re closed much more often than you’d expect during regular business hours. It’s kind of odd. Maybe it’s just been bad timing but we are maybe 50/50 on getting food here during their posted business hours for dinner.

A little gem… We happened in to “Tortas Chano” today & we’re so glad we did. Kudos to the friendly gentleman (son to the owner I assume) at the counter. We ordered the #8 taco combo and carnitas street tacos, both were fabulous. I fell in love with their flavor-filled mild salsa & chips. The restaurant was clean, they have an outdoor patio & it’s kid friendly.

Bad attitude and food not good. Asked the kid with glasses for limes and he’s face looked like he didn’t like i asked for limes when he brought the HALF Lime with an attitude he asked. Anything else and walked away!!! First and last time I eat here. Salsa they provide me with the meal was practically tomato sauce. Not Mexican salsa

I’ve read many of the reviews and many are positive, I only wish I felt the same, I don’t care how good a restaurants food is, if I walk in and the place is dirty it a complete turn off for me. My wife and I had been told this was a great little place to get good mexican food so on Saturday April 16 we decided to grab a late lunch, we both used the restrooms to wash our hands, we both came out with the same response, the restrooms weren’t clean and had a sewage odor, mind you it’s about 2 pm well after a lunch rush but the restaurant was dirty, floors, tables, overflowing garbage, everything needed attention. As for the food, I had the shredded beef tacos with rice and beans, it was edible but seriously lacked flavor and my wife felt the same about her meal. I realize everyone has different taste when it comes to food and that’s fine, like I said it’s edible. But as for the cleanliness of the restaurant, there’s NEVER an excuse. I hope they figure this out before it’s to late.

I think the first time we tried this place was because it was on that food network show (even before the name change), but don’t let that sway you, it’s a good restaurant on its own. The food is freshly prepared and the staff and owners are always very nice and courteous. The restaurant itself has always been very clean.

We had a long day of moving and were fortunate or lucky enough to find Tortas Chanos nearby and placed our order for delivery. The food was amazing, fresh, hot and just perfect. Highly recommend and cannot wait to visit in person and enjoy their margaritas we heard about.
