I drove past this place a couple of times before and today I decided to go try it out. Boy.. I should have never stop by what a HUGE disappointment.. I never leave reviews but I could not just let this go. First off the ambience of the restaurants was dead on a Saturday. no music,TVs turned off, and only two employees sitting down on there phones. I ordered two tortas ahogadas to go that came with there raw onion, tomato sauce and chili sauce and lime. one of carnitas and one of barbacoa and two Mexican cokes. For $34 it’s up there but maybe they are that good?.. wrong As soon as I saw her grab the bread I was surprised. They were not using bollios they use some sort of cafeteria frozen hoagie roll that were dry and stale. Not even the tomato sauce could save them. They tasted like something you get at a hospital. The carnitas were dry, and minced way to much. Traditionally it is supposed to look like pulled pork. The barbacoa had a decent flavor but again the frozen cafeteria roll was A HUGE LET DOWN! The only reason I give it a star is because I was able to wash down the bread with the Mexican coke. Worst tortas I have ever tasted. NEVER AGAIN

This is a purely authentic Mexican flavor. If you are not familiar with one of the typical dishes from the state of Jalisco in Mexico, “torta ahogada” is a gem.

I normally don’t leave reviews unless I’ve had a bad experience and want to warn other possible customers. I became aware of this place when I came across an article titled “The five best tacos in Lancaster”.

Small menu, but very authentic. Mexican food. No longer do you have to go to north hollywood to enjoy it. Now there is one in lancaster. The one in north hollywood there for about 12 years. Fresh ingredients, tasty!

I gotta say the service was absolutely superb the lady was very welcoming and made us actually laugh a couple of times. That aside, food was quite delicious, and stays true to the restuarant. Since it is a Mexican restuarant there is limited amount of variations of food, but it’s nothing to worry about because everything is great. If I would have to critique something about this place, it would be price and the amount of food they serve depending on what you get. Since I ordered a “Torta Ahogada” price was a tad over $10 and it was a bit small in my opinion compared to other Tortas I have eaten before, but I am aware that size depends on the bread so I can’t complain too much. Overall I recommend this place if you’re craving for some Mexican food.

Great Mexican food on our way home from the desert. We had the potato taco, chicken taco, burrito de barbacoa, and pozole. We were all quite happy with our food.

Ramadita has absolutely amazing tortas!! Me and my wife had the carnitas and asada torta. The sauce had really good flavor and the meat was very well cooked. The food came out very fast too. The ladies in the kitchen were very nice. I will definately return and recommend my family and friends to Ramadita!!!
