For being in Oakley, this little Mexican restaurant serves great authentic Mexican food! Some of the food needed a little more salt. Overall, great place to try!

Unfortunately I have gone into this restaurant 1 hr prior to closing, only to be told they are already closed. This has happened several times. The hours of business need to be updated or should make it clear the final hour of business people cannot order food.

BoomerNaut here: my review – Ladies & Gentlemen: this little eatery is huge compliment to the Oakley – Grocery Outlet locale. Nidia (Mexican Sandwich shop Owner) so pleasant. Observed strict adherence to social distancing by owner and customers alike. Why we ate here? Google Local Guides are engaged to assist Google Maps Busuiness’es and advise Google Maps users of hours of operations. Please see Ms. Nidia provided in her own hand the hours contained, attached and below.

The space is small but they have great service and amazing food. I tried they’re tacos de papa and barbacoa. They also have a mini torta option, which is half a toeta ahogada. It’s pretty good if you want to order more than one thing but still want to get a torta ahogada 🙂

Very nice and helpful service… I only had the Barbacoa Taco with cheese. It was very good, the meat was tender and well flavored and cooked and all my request were met as far as toppings and etc…

Very very very good food. Looked small and was unsure of eating here but it was genuinely great tasting food. Well worth my time and money.

Food was good. But it took 45 minutes from the time I walked in the door, until the time I walked out the door, with my take out order. Not sure if they are normally this slow, or if I caught them busier than normal. Either way, the food was good, but I guess you have to plan way ahead.
