The prices for the quality of food served were not equal. The bread was not fresh, the salad was an iceberg mixture that you would buy at your local grocery store. This was the meal my family had to end vacation, and it was the most expensive meal we had at $230. The entrees were acceptable, but overall our experience was a disappointment and waste of time.

This is my first time ever writing a review on a restaurant. I’m not picky and always enjoy getting together with my family for dinner. Unfortunately we were not able to have a good experience at this restaurant. We made a reservation for 5 people at 7pm. We got our appetizers after an hour. Appetizers were ok, had better at other fast foods. We patiently waited for our meals. Two hours later, we asked someone who seemed to be the manager about the timing. We wanted to have an idea of how much longer we had to wait. He said “ you can wait until we are done with appetizers with the other group or leave”. The other group of approximately 20 people came about an hour after us. We insisted to at least give us a time frame. He was very rude and pretty much told us to stay quiet or leave 🙂 We were kind of shocked and stayed for a little, but then decided to leave. We honestly gave the time and patience to have a good experience but not sure what was their issue. I have to say, the waiters were trying to do their job, well done. Needles to say, we left and went to a different, smaller place and had the best Italian food. I wish the best to the the unhappy person “manager”, who was not able to take care of his customers at the restaurant.

My experience at this spot was very disappointing first of all place is dated still no upgrades.Sangria is regular cheap wine made by John. Calamari was hot, but not seasoned. In fact all the food was just bland no seasoning. But freshly cooked I will not recommend this spot or revisit. Sorry John. And this is just my opinion.

I found this place through a Google search and I’m so happy I found it! The food was fabulous and the people were very welcoming! I had the Eggplant Rollatini. It tasted like my family’s homemade recipe and was a very healthy portion! I’ll be having it for breakfast. Lol! Being a single diner, I met some other people at the bar and they were SO welcoming and friendly! Anyone who is anyone was there! I HIGHLY recommend Torna a Sorrento!!!

I was always intrigued by this restaurant, I read someone sat Olive Garden would’ve been better. & unfortunately i agree. I ordered a lasagna that I couldn’t even eat. Calamari has no flavor, Only thing I enjoyed was the mozzarella salad that took almost an hour. This restaurant needs more step in their game, better time management, & better quality food for their prices.
