The live cockroach in vegetable ruined our lunch! We traveled all the way to Houston for the ftc world championship in the convention center. Today, we found this restaurant in the nearby underground tunnel system. We ordered 11 boxes of carry out for students, the sate beef rice and sate beef noodle. In one of the boxes, there is a cockroach waving its antennae in the raw vegetables. It is very disgusting and ruined our lunch.

The wonton soup and bahn mi was amazing. Restaurant is run by quaint, old vietnamese couple. Highly recommend!

One of the best banh mi sandwiches I’ve had, everything tasted so fresh, and the guy running the place was very friendly.

I work downtown and love this place! The freshest ingredients every time and everything on the menu is great. The line moves quick and the staff treats me like family. I’m also a fan of the exotic drink options. Top Taste – You all are doing a great job. Keep it up!

There are so many Vietnamese places in Houston, there is a lot of stiff competition! I’m not a big fan of the banh mi here, but try the vermicelli noodles or the rice dishes. Their cafe sua da is also good.

I was turned on to the banh mi sandwich a while back. This place has the best I’ve had so far in my opinion. The Special Pork banh mi is nothing short of phenominal. They put mayo on the bagette first and cheeses is optional. The sandwiches are toasted perfectly and the toppings are fresh and delicious. They squirt a little savory sweet sauce over the sandwich right before they wrap it up so by the time you get to eat it its melded all the flavors together. It’s a perfect comination if hot and cold, tender and crunchy and sweet and spicy. The rice plates are just as good! I usually walk the tunnels once a week to grab one; you should too if you like asain inspired sandwiches that change your life.

Nice service. Good bun (vermicelli noodle dish). Not the best I’ve ever had, but fine for fast food. I’d eat here again.
