Went with my family on the way home from Branson. The service was good. 3/4 of us ordered a burger and we all liked them. But my husband got a chicken fried steak sandwich. It was premade, kinda like the the ones at the grocery store…it just wasnt good. So, stop by here but avoid the chicken fried steak.

Amazing little restaurant! I stopped here for breakfast on my way to Harrison for work. The coffee was great, the food was quick to come out and tasty. The menu is simple good food at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend this diner to anyone looking for a place to eat.

Awesome little restaurant. Small inside but their menu is full. The service was amazing and the food was delicious and fresh. Very affordable by the way. Will definitely be back.

The sweet tea and the bacon egg burger were good. The fried green beans weren’t great, and the fried mushrooms were terrible and did not eat them. I told the person when I was checking out about my dissatisfaction with the mushrooms and was told it wasn’t everyone’s favorite but did not offer any solution. I paid and left. Probably will not eat there again.

Great little place to eat. We found it on our road trip and absolutely loved it. If I lived nearby or were ever to travel near this place, I would definitely eat here again. Food and service were great

First time here and it was great. I had the open faced roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans, and Mac and cheese. The beef was cooked well and very tender, and there was a good amount of it too. The Texas style toast was buttered and toasted nicely. Good brown gravy. My wife had a cheeseburger with onion rings. They were excellent as well. They run the kitchen well from what I can see, and they change their fryer oil like they should. From another person’s review I saw they mentioned the bread pudding so we tried it and we both agreed that it’s the BEST bread pudding we’ve EVER had. Seriously. And I’ve sampled my fair share of it! Cassy was our server and she was wonderful. She helped make my first visit exceptional. We will definitely be back.

Small venue but worth the wait on a Memorial Day lunch. Service was good and the food was even better. The prices were even good. I would recommend and look forward to stopping by on my way through next time.

Cute mom and pop diner, service was great and food was excellent and fast. In and out with a full tummy pretty quickly on memorial day weekend and there was 7 of us! I had the Spanish omelette, other orders in my party were the ribeye and pork chop breakfast (both cooked perfectly), chicken and waffles and the basic breakfasts (eggs, bacon, hb and b&g) and not a single complaint was heard from my group of picky eaters. Save some room for pecan cheesecake because holy smokes! That was absolutely delicious!

We were in Branson for a week and it was hard to find a place that had good food at a decent price. We happen to drive to Alpena just south of Branson and stopped here for lunch.
