Put in an order and showed up at 12:00 (they open at 11:30). They said “it will be a bit because the chef just got in”. Never heard of a place that hasn’t had their “chef” in prepping before open, but ok. Checked back in at 12:30 and got attitude about needing more time. They said they needed 30 more minutes to get the food ready. They finally called to say it was ready at 1:15 PM. Almost 2 hours after it was placed. The food was mediocre at best. Their miso soup had nothing in it and their “salad” was lettuce with a single cherry tomato. The cherry tomato was even wrinkly. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone. Horrible customer service and subpar food. Skip it if you can.

Hibachi waitress wasn’t the greatest, but the main dining waitress was nice. Chef didn’t have too much energy but he was still nice and put on a show. Food was incredible. Large portions, clean place, clean bathrooms

If you want to be royalty ripped off eat here. We paid $44 dollars for two dishes that came in child size to go containers, half filled with filler white crunchy inedible food. We got two pieces of shrimp with about four pieces of chicken (honey chicken dish) and an order of noodles that was enough for a four year old. If you want to leave hungry or eat at home and need to still cook dinner this is your place

Horrible service, the waitress was extremely rude while rolling her eyes and she got our order wrong. I would never go back they look at you as though you are an inconvenience. It’s so quiet, nothing special just skip this place and go elsewhere. The food was bland and defiantly not an experience like other hibachis I have gone to.

This place has gone downhill. Food quality declined. Waitresses and staff are not friendly (chef was great!). I came with a bunch of kids for a birthday and was forced to order from adult menu for them which was so expensive and wasteful because they couldn’t eat all that. Used to be great- what happened???

I went to top hibachi today and I asked for filet mignon medium. I got a steak that was over cooked. I went bananas like an ape for the chicken at how bad it was and everything else wasn’t good. The cook didn’t even look at us and talk to us.

I was very disappointed when my father took me and my little brother out for lunch at the hibachi place in Mahopac New York and I had and watch my my father get racially profiled because of the color of his skin. I only thought that this mess only worked in movies and I never seen it in person although my father ignore it because we were there I still felt if for myself. Other people walked in before us and the lady had said nothing to them at all but then when my “black father” my brother and I walked in we was told that there machines where down and they were only taking cash. She had said if we didn’t have cash we had to leave I am very proud of my father for the way he handled the situation and I hope and I pray that this situation will never happen again

1 person in my order got pan fried noodles (the photo). They were hard as rock, dry, flavorless. I ordered Pad Thai, which was bland, slimy and overall not appealing. I will not be ordering from here ever again.
