Tonys Tacos! What a great place. I was told it was the place to go, so I went, and it was absolutely delicious. As I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the ladies at the counter. They were helpful with the suggestion of the Asada tacos and the Birria tacos, both of which I ordered along with a side of elotes. When my food came out, I could tell from the looks of it, it was exactly what I wanted it to be. The double corn tortillas generously filled with hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned meat, onions, and cilantro. Prior to my first bite I made a quick trip to the salsa bar to top off my tacos with guacamole salsa and a little lime. After a couple bites of each taco I dug into my elote. The corn seems to be fresh cut from the cob and grilled then a dollop of mayo seasoned with chili powder and fresh lime juice, sprinkled all over with salty Cotija cheese. If you’re still reading this review, hit the directions icon and swing in and over eat some great authentic Mexican food.

I believe this is the college power refill place… lol. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was being connected to a convenient station. I had a friend recommend me to give it a try and I was impressed. I had the shrimp chicken and steak burrito with all the fixings. It came with rice and beans and I got extra cheese sauce on the side. It was pretty good!

Just had two Pastor tacos. Delivered. I used to love them at downtown Bloomington. But these chunks of pork were so full of gristle and fat. Ugh! So disappointed.

terrible experience. i ordered tacos and had typed no mushroom. i am allergic and always make a note to put it in as this happens frequently. apparently a system malfunction happened and this did not show on the ticket. they could not make me a new meal so i’ve wasted money and do not have something to eat. this is very upsetting and disappointing as i have worked in several restaurants and their help was very unprofessional

Gf ordered chips and salsa. When food was brought to the table we mentioned we ordered chips and salsa waitress goes no you didn’t. Lol I said yes we did. She showed me the receipt it wasn’t on there. I said we told her we did. She goes that will be a charge…um yeah that’s fine. Just want the chips and salsa we ordered. Smh. Girl at the front counter must have been confused when we ordered our food when we said chips and salsa also.

Love Notes for TLC

This restaurant is attached to a gas station and although that might be a deterrent for some travelers, I’m glad I gave it a try! They offer a few vegan entrees and I tried two of them in one sitting. The vegan gordita and sope were authentically delicious. I grew up on foods similar to these and trying vegan Mexican food is my absolute favorite! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Dining area was large and spacious although they only have one restroom. The prices were great too! Definitely worth sampling if you enjoy Mexican food, they also offer a few American food options as well.

My go to!!! They have the best guacamole sauce and full buffet of sauces! The birria tacos are fire and fast quick service! They always have smile on faces and the taco guy that stands by the door is amazing.
