This place definitely lives up to the hype! The service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was solid and the pizza was . We had a pepperoni and Margherita, plus a mixed greens salad. The crust was some of the best I’ve ever had, the sauce was a delicious blend with a hint of sweetness and the toppings were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back soon and I highly recommend it to any pizza lovers in SF.

A true pioneer for pizza in San Francisco because, while satisfying the clientele, this place is also faithful to tradition. In fact, the styles of pizza are varied and distinct: from the simply wonderful Neapolitan pizza, made with a very light dough, to the American-style pizza, from the New-York-style to the typical Sicilian pizza; as well as the excellent gluten-free options. The doughs all follow high-quality standards, and excellent raw materials are used, which are often Italian. A great selection of craft beers and a wine list “speaks” Italian. The wood char and chewiness of the dough added extra depth of flavor. May be pricey but one of the few things I’m willing to splurge on!

This was my first time eating here and it was delicious! We arrived for late lunch and put our name on their waitlist. We were on the waitlist for approx. 20 min, which was much shorter than the time they told us which was nice.

My wife and I love pizza. We are from Phoenix and have eaten at many restaurants that serve awesome pizza. Tony’s Pizza however tops them all. It’s something with the sauce and the quality ingredients that literally make this pizza pop. We got a thin crust with sausage and a New York pizza that melted in your mouth with ricotta cheese, pepperoni and sausage. Would highly recommend their pizza to anyone! I will absolutely make it a point to stop at Tony’s when I’m in town.

This is our favorite restaurant in the city. I would recommend going at an off time (2-5) or joining the waitlist online and then heading over. We always take our guests here. My favorite is the lasagne- it’s seriously amazing. Every single pizza we have had has also been delicious!

After visiting City Lights bookstore, we stopped for lunch. The pizza and garlic bread were great. Highly recommended is the wheat beer on tap.

Was the the best pizza I’ve had – highly probably. Was it also the most I’ve paid for a simple (if delicious, those tomatoes ) margarita – yes. I ate at the bar and ordered a water. Couldn’t tip as much as I’d have liked to as the tax that gets piled on in California surprised me on day one of my trip here…I tipped a little and hope that was a gesture to say thank you!

We really liked the pizza here. They have almost any style of pizza you could possibly imagine. My boyfriend loved his cocktail, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the two I ordered. We got a ‘grandma’s’ style spicy pizza and it was really good. Not necessarily the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, but tasty enough that I ate two pieces. Really friendly staff.
