Enjoyed our Easter Sunday visit! Great modern decor with a laid back setting. I appreciate a beautiful plating and display of my food and Tonic did not disappoint. We enjoyed our steak and salad…and rave reviews for the clams. The strawberry margarita I ordered was fantastic too!! We’ll definitely be back.

This place is highly recommended. Everything from the service, drinks, and food were impeccable. The bison braised short ribs were so delicious and tender. The crab cakes were mostly crab meat with barely any filler. The house made ceasar dressing was different but very good. French onion soup tasted a little burnt for my liking. I would tell anyone to go and try their food.

We’re from NJ, where there are more restaurants than one could imagine. High end, low end and in between, so after reading all of the reviews for this place, the bar was set pretty high. We had no reservation so we took a seat at the bar for only about 5 minutes. The hostess was very sweet and gracious. We both wanted steak. I had the 8z filet, he had the ribeye. Our meals were amazing! Cutting into the steak was like slicing butter! Cooked to perfection! I rarely finish my entire meal but this one, I literally finished every bite. The place was an open atmosphere. Bar on one end, dining on the other. There was a band in the bar area that set up to play. Great music and singer. Far enough away that we could still have a conversation without raising our voices, yet loud enough that we could enjoy it. There was nothing cozy or romantic about the atmosphere but it was a nice place. If we came to town again, this could definitely be “our spot”.

Great drinks, amazing food, and fantastic service. Our server Teddy was the best at recommendations. Vegan friendly as well. I had the chickpea cakes and they were delicious.

Thank you, guys, for your kindness. The food was awesome, and so were the drinks. Will be back when I visit.

This sophisticated restaurant has great food, gluten free friendly, and has array of Land and Sea options. A little pricey but well worth the treat once in a while

We held our rehearsal dinner and welcome party in the Salon and Juniper rooms. Our guests were staying at the Hotel DuPont and the Marriott so Tonic was in easy walking distance to both locations. The staff at Tonic did a fantastic job in making our event very special. We held the dinner in the Juniper room for 62 people. Then they opened the divider to the Salon room for the Welcome Party. Both spaces comfortably accommodated about 150 guests. The TV screens around both rooms ran our photo montage. The food was good and both bars kept busy all night. A shout out to Amanda and team. A perfect kickoff to our wedding weekend.

We shared Easter brunch here this morning, and goodness, it was delicious! It was our first time at Tonic, and we were not disappointed! We greatly enjoyed our starter of Tuna Tartare (the best one we’ve ever had), followed by a Mushroom, Kale, and Truffle Omelet and Turkish Eggs (topped with the most delightful combination of spices and the freshest herbs we’ve ever tasted)! The drinks were delicious as well. We tried the Juniper, as well as mimosas (traditional orange, and with pineapple/grapefruit juice). Our main dishes were just $17 each, which is a steal compared to the $75 Easter Brunch occurring at a certain restaurant just across the street, and I would wager that the quality at Tonic was just as good if not better!

A lively place, especially at night, when the restaurant becomes flooded with blue and purple lights, and live music fills the air. It is actually possible to eat somewhat cheaply here, but doing so transgresses against the general atmosphere here. This isn’t a place to come if you only want a quick bite. This is a place to go if you have a large party, and you’re all they’re enjoying yourself over a large, somewhat expensive meal, or else you want to enjoy a vast variety of wines and other varieties of alcohol, whether alone or with a large, jovial party. You don’t have to be rich to go here. But your experience will probably be best if you are not constantly concerned about how much you’re spending. I wouldn’t say the place is quite to my taste, but that is a me thing. How much you enjoy this place very much will depend on what kind of mood you’re in, whether you’re alone or in a group, and how much money you’re willing to spend.
